In March 2022, I paid Mr- **** to install a new air conditioner and heating unit with new ducting for my home. Since that day, the unit has not worked correctly. I have called numerous times. Mr. **** has sent several different employees of his company to my house at least nine times. Mr. **** NEVER came himself to check the problem. He came December 27,2022 and promised he would be here Jan 9, 2023 to fix the problem. NEVER CAME BACK, First complaint: Mr. **** came to my house to collect check after his crew installed unit. He NEVER inspected unit to ensure it was installed correctly That same evening, I called him because unit blowing hot air AC NOT WORKING and would not STOP RUNNING. . His crew did not connect duct work for several vents, did not install new duct work in all areas, duct work was left laying on ground, crew left disconnected clothes dryer, removed and broke boards on house siding and left boards laying in yard, left holes around new inside unit, rodent came into house, air blowing in house from holes around new unit, AC blowing hot air, heat blowing cold air. Second, Mr **** sent men to work at my home who without my knowledge was registered offenders! Mr. **** NEVER was with the men when they came to my home. Some of men were ex convicts for other numerous charges. Third: Mr **** has I believed treated me and my home VERY DISRESPECTFUL! I have tried numerous times to talk with him and he doesn’t show up when he says. He sends men that are just released from the county jail to my home. I had a registered offender in my home without my permission or knowledge. Mr. **** took my check for a unit that has not worked correctly since the first day. He has never corrected the issues. Mr **** has been I believe very irresponsible and not trustworthy. I would appreciate anything you can do to help me with this situation. I can’t afford to purchase a new unit or pay somebody else to repair this unit unless I get a refund from Mr. ****. Thank you

    Business Response

    Date: 02/02/2023

In response to the letter submitted by Mrs. Tammy ***** concerning the installation of a new heating and air conditioning unit, Mrs. ***** stated that I never went to her home after the installation was completed which is simply not true. I went to the home at least three times during and after the installation was completed where I spoke with her husband, Mr. Daniel *****. Mr. ***** pulled the boards off their home himself and said that he would replace them. The duct work under her house has been replaced and repaired as needed to deliver the correct amount of air. To the best of my knowledge all duct work problems have been corrected and the air conditioning unit is performing as it should. Tammy addressed me with the initial issue she was having of the air conditioner continuously running to which I promptly responded to get that fixed. When my employees left the residence, the unit was working correctly. It appears that Mrs. ***** is requesting a refund for services that have been provided and completed.

I spoke with Mrs. Tammy ***** on 2/2/2023 at 8:30AM, following this complaint and she informed me that the unit is working correctly and apologized.

    Thank you,
