The service was in February 2023. I'm disputing this for my 90 year old mother who lives in *****. The company contacted her and said it was time for her air conditioning service. She does have a contract with a company but it isn't this company. The service with the contracted company would have been free. They charged her $1600 and had told her she had a contract with them. I consider this elderly financial abuse. Please advise.

I am rejecting this response because: *********** had been contacted (they state otherwise). *********** that the client actually had a contract with has been contacted and looked over the documents and the work that was done. They have told the client that she has a case against World Class Heating and Cooling. I spoke with the company (W.C.) and explained the situation. They still feel that they did no wrong.

      Sincerely,

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The work that was done was because my 90 year old mother did not understand that she was not working with the company she had a contract with. The contracted company has stated that the work that was done was at too high of a cost. With the guidance of the contracted company, my mom is ok with paying for the work that was done. But, $1700.00 that was charged was exorbitant. My mother is grieving her husband right now and does not need any more grief dealing with this. That is why I have been dealing with it.

      Sincerely,
