    On August 5th 2022 I called the ********** office and cancelled my service. I was told I would have a refund in two weeks. Over two weeks later I still have no refund so I called back again and was told it may take up to 30 days. I was told there billing department would call me back and they never did. I asked for the billing number and was told they did not know it. I have been trying to get a refund for almost 3 months now with no luck.I Calculated out the each pickup cost $5.99 so I subtracted that from how many times they picked up and came up with $47.92 as my owed refund.Customer #****

    I paid in full, $49.63 via credit card, for curbside waste service on 7/15/22. The service was supposed to be weekly on Thursdays to begin the week of 8/1/22. They failed to show up at any time that week. I contacted them to inquire. I was told they would be out the following Thursday on 8/11/22. They still failed to show up at any time that week. To date, they collected no waste from the service address. On 8/12/22 I canceled their service and requested a refund. I was told the refund would take ***** days. I called on 9/13/22 to ask why I had yet to be refunded. It is now 10/5/22 and I still have received no refund. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. This business is a scam. They owe me $49.63.

    Customer filed a dispute with her credit card company on 9/8/2022 and Mastercard debited us $49.63 at that time. Customers account recognizes this refund, she needs to reach out to Mastercard and find out where the refund went.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I filed a dispute with my CC company on 9/2/22. I just spoke with **** with the Dispute Team from my CC company at 11:00 AM on 10/7/22 and they still have no response from you so currently the credit on my account is a conditional credit for me so I'm not charged interest on a bogus charge. Your business still has not refunded my card nor bothered to reply to my CC company. The amount of time I've spent trying to contact your company, Coastal Waste, and the additional time with my credit card company is ridiculous. I cancelled service and requested a refund on 8/12/22.

    I started service with Coastal in June of 2022 after buying my house. I cancelled service with them after approximately a month, due to them simply not picking up. I would schedule a missed pick up, and they would still not show up. If I had larger furniture boxes (broken down), they would not pick them up. On one of my last pick ups, the crew left garbage all over my front yard. They had tossed a bag of garbage that was in the can into my yard, and there were large pieces of styrofoam throughout the yard. Everything had been stacked in between the cans, as they hadn't picked up in over a week. I called immediately to cancel service, and I was told I would be refunded for the month of July that I had prepaid for in 3-5 business days, and that they would pick the cans up the next day. They did not pick up their cans, so I called multiple times over the two week period it took for them to pick up their cans. It has now been six weeks, I still have not received my refund for the month of July, and the only explanation is "it's still processing I'll email my supervisor again".
