  I waited a long time for my impact windows to come in. (And I was told this up front when I ordered them, since the hurricanes last year created a huge backlog. Everyone I have spoken to has experienced similar or even longer waits, regardless of the company.) Let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
  This is by far the best construction crew I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Nick and his team were courteous, friendly, efficient and 100% professional. They were exceptionally clean and considerate, and covered every inch of my condo — floors, cabinets, counters, furniture, etc — with drop clothes and plastic. My windows and sliding glass doors are high quality, solidly installed and look amazing. They did a fantastic job. And they left my place looking like no one had even been there. I highly recommend this company!
  (I also highly recommend these *** windows — my place is cooler, my insurance rate dropped, and I can no longer hear the crowd at the pool.)

  HORRIBLE company. The only good thing is their subcontractor installation crew. They did exactly what they said they would do. Chris and Shane, the owners of White Hat , their office help, and the salesman Jack(who no longer works for them)are all inept and will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to cover themselves. Our project started in October with the order and did not finish until May 5th. We had to cancel various parts of our $112,000 job because they a) couldn't deliver what we ordered, b) ordered wrong sizes, and c) tried to install windows that did not match existing windows. If you want delay after delay, wrong materials, no shows, and excuse after excuse, this is your company. We hired them because we were told they were a Veteran owned company and wanted to support them and a small business. They are in way over their heads, and should be avoided at all cost.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. We hired this company to install impact windows. Signed the contract back in March. Was promised windows before the end of April, didnt happen. They finally started to install in June, meanwhile, they tried to claim that the trim on the windows was not included when it was clearly written on the sheet the salesman wrote up the day we gave them an $80,000 job! There was an issue at one point the installers found some water damage, my husband asked for an estimate to repair it, was told **** would call him back, again, never happed. After they completed installation, they emailed us with additional invoices totaling close to $20,000. There were no change orders ever signed. Looking back, there were numerous occasions where white hat employees were acting duplicitous. We have refused to pay the additional invoices. They never called for a city inspection of their work, so I called and scheduled an inspector, who promptly failed them, as the trim covered up how the windows are fastened to house. He stated that a structural engineer would need to certify that the windows were correctly installed. Months later, finally got a text from owner because permit was running out. It failed again because structural engineer had not been hired by them. We have tried EVERYTHING we know to avoid litigation with this company and just be DONE with them and this project. If youre reading this DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

  We stopped at the donut shop next door to White Hat Windows. We had only a good donut on our minds and never gave the little shop next door a thought until after we ate and had our morning coffee. On the way back to the car, we decided to go in and check the place out. We had previously discussed having our front door replaced and a bathroom window (which rattled when the wind blew). We found in the display of front doors the one we were looking for. ***** and I discussed our needs and we also discovered we were both Special Forces Alumni in the ************ Army. I was in ******* and ***** was in ****. We were both Captains with a lot in common. That cinched the deal. ***** was always friendly and very respectful. It took about a month to acquire the exact door we wanted. ***** kept us informed along the way. The first part of April 2023, ***** received all the materials for both of my projects and sent his contractors to us for installation. The gentlemen he sent were professional and paid attention to detail to a fault. It took them about seven hours to complete the installation. Their workmanship was impeccable, and every detail or adjustment was patiently and throughly addressed. I highly recommend White Hat Windows. In my opinion I received much more than my moneys worth. ***** and his installers seemed to have about the highest standards one could imagine. They are trustworthy, personable, professional and very very good at their trade. Thanks guysYou are the best. ************** ****
