Ministry conference booked over 3 day period-Sept 30-Oct 01-****************** event. I provided the same & email listed on website. They have a Florida address & an Illinois address. I sent you the Florida.
I paid out of pocket for 3 registrations @$75 each =$225. There were 3 levels -$55,$65,$75. Travel, room & board.
event cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. The problem is -they said they can't return registration fees bc they've already paid out $18K. And at the minimum of $55 per seat for over 1,000 seats -the math is obvious.
They said they couldn't refund bc of Above reason. But they rescheduled the event without asking is we were were available for those dates, time & travel already spent on initial event. Well, that event was rescheduled for Jan 2023. But the speakers have changed.
They are not fulfilling their initial product they charged me for. The dates & speakers of event have changed. They said no refunds & they would hold the seats. But many won't be there, now they're saying they have so many amount of seats left.
They can not fulfill original product sold, dates, tiles, same speakers. I just want my $225 returned. They are selling something completely different-dates, different speakers.
I have the email I sent & the email I received. I paid $225 on 9/12/2022. I feel ripped off and lied to. Your product has changed -refund room amount amount then resale your new product. This gives religious groups horrible names bc of this kind of junk they pull. I just want my $225 returned to the bank card I purchased the tickets on. I can provide my bank account where I paid the amount & the email exchange. This is my first time making a complaint-I can provide all of that upon request. Please email or call me as I provide my info as well.

Brett Watson Ministries is an integral international Ministry for over 33 years reaching millions of lives. This situation is one of which the young lady mentioned has decided to post a negative comment, when the situation was handled in a time manner.

We refunded 2 of her tickets a month before the event took place that she had asked for and then the hurricane was forcasted to hit Florida. We had to reschedule the event. It took just a little bit of time to regroup after the hurricane, but this
    situation was resolved.

We had let everyone know that had purchased tickets the whole situation and that their registration, tickets and seat assignments were intact and to be used for the rescheduled event. We let everyone know that per the refund clause posted on **********, "Refunds were only available up until seven days before the scheduled event date. After that they were not."

As the young lady had mentioned, there were not 1070 seats filled. We had only sold 300 registrations up until the hurricane was forecasted and had used the proceeds of those tickets to pay the venue.

All of her tickets (Five in Total) for the event (Two a month before and Three more after) were refunded to her (less the fees associated, that ********** keeps).

We did not keep any of her funds from the purchased tickets, and we have copies of the receipts where she purchased 5 tickets and all of the refunds were given back to her.

We have done all that was required for us to do to assist her in this situation to resolve the matter in full.

    to me

I understand that he may have intended to do that-but that simply is not the case. I will enclose to you a screenshot of $225 leaving my account & $225 that has NEVER been returned. Thus, the entire purpose of my complaint. It is not my desire to bad mouth someone, at all. I do not like nor enjoy having to get a third party involved. I had to because I emailed them asking for my $225 fee to be returned. That's when I received the email in response to that, oh well, we rescheduled. Now I know I'm order to put on any event in such a large capacity & how you have to acquire certain certificates to hold such said events, the ''acts of God'' are included in the business planning of said event. You are required to carry some type of insurance due to the possibility of inclement weather. And even more so it being a federal building. They changed the product - you said you would not refund my fees because you rescheduled the event. I have that email as well. That's why I stated all that I did, trying to explain why I asked my money returned. That the product you sold me has changed. Your tickets sold or not sold do not concern the consumer.
And as your response as it is, you believe you returned the fees to me. But I'm here declaring and swearing honorably that no fees were returned whatsoever. $225 left my account 9/12/2022 and has not returned to me at all. Someone can view my banking account to show where the fees were not returned. I don't believe anyone suggests I send that private banking information over an email. But when it is reviewed, you will see that none of the $225 was returned to me. I believe you may think you returned them, and that's why you stated as such. But that's just not the case at all. I mean you no ill will, I just want my $225 returned to me. That's all. I Will obviously be calling you BBB to share my banking information with you to show that they were not returned to me. And you may want to advise Mr. Watson to check his accounts again. I hope he has not endured any type of fraud either.
Thank you again for your time.

To be clear in this matter, the first 2 tickets of the 5 total - Miss **** purchased were infact refunded in a timely manner in September of 2022 and she can confirm this. Though she has not mentioned it at all.

We were very eager to assist her in her issues and helped her, With emails documented showing this. There was no reason at all To bring this situation to a third party as we handled her request accordingly. We have been very understanding in every situation including ****'s.

With the hurricane and all issues we had to respond too, it took time to respond to everyone and help all situations.

When **** had a new request to refund the 3 remaining tickets, this order was also handled as it takes 10 days to see a refund post. Per the refund clause, again posted on ********** in regards to the policy, we did what we could to assist all of those that were not able to make the rescheduled event, even though all proceeds were used for the venue costs.

As with our previous response, we refunded the tickets. However, After looking further, it appears there was an issue with her refund. We looked into this and have again processed the refund accordingly for $225 less Eventbrite fees associated with their web portal. The completed refund is $206.70 refunded on this date 12/2/22.

    All documentation has been uploaded.
