    Made reservation for vacation arriving in april for two nights as you can see per the reservation the taxes and fees are showing. When we arrived we paid the account in full. We ask the registration clerk what we owed and we paid full in cash. When we arrive back from our vacation two weeks later the credit card was charged 56.94. I called the hotel and they stated that we had been registered as tax exempt. I have never registered anything tax exempt. I requested a copy of the receipt. The registration clerk had changed us to tax exempt. This was not our error this was in error or the hotel. We are requesting the 56.94 in refund. I have already went through the Wyndham complaint department and they said because the taxes have to be paid we were responsible. This was on error of the hotel and should have been handled when we paid in full upon arrival. We should have not been charged over two weeks later for their error.

    I am the new General manager I apologize for this issue looks like this was before my time here. Here at LaQuinta inn & Suites this isn't how we conduct ourselves and I'm sorry that you experienced this during your stay. In future if you all decide to come back we would be more than happy to Have you stay with us again and hopefully have a positive stay.
