    I am rejecting this response because let's be honest for a moment which it's obvious they cannot.  I was in a restaurant when calling so yelling never took place.  I had no issue using another company after I realized while being yelled at by *** the owner that he personally just really did not want to do the job.  I never said they would not do the job, they were willing but the attitude from the owner and based on their ****** reviews proves I am correct, they have a history of not being nice.  Again, I had no problem hiring a reputable company like G&G because I have used them before and they actually do quality work.  I was told by the owner that it's normal for roof vents to blow off in wind, not if installed correctly it is not.  There are 12 units next to this one and all the roof vents held just fine.  His craftsmanship is to be questioned.  I'm not going to go back and forth with this guy, based on their response it's sad to see how much they lie, I can understand a little drama added or something but the flat out lies in their response tells me enough.  Remember I was happy with no issue to pay another company $750 to fix their mistake.  I did not ask him for the money back, I just realized in communications with him that he did not personally want to deal with this problem.  It's completely ok, use this company if you wish but I am here to tell you the owner and whoever answers his phone cannot tell the truth.  I wish them good luck and maybe they will use this BBB post to learn how to be better to the next customer.

    ******* ****e vents to flip during wind storms, which contradicts my understanding that a properly installed roof should not exhibit such issues. As the conversation progressed, ***** demeanor seemed increasingly unprofessional. Recognizing that this is a hobby and repair cost is not an issue, but still a hobby and it allows for flexibility in choosing service providers, I suggested that we might opt for a reputable company like G&G Roofing to handle the repairs. I conveyed this to *** in a neutral tone, with no frustration on my part. However, the call ended abruptly with *** stating, F*** Off, before hanging up. I find this level of professionalism unacceptable for a service provider, especially one involved in roofing. Such conduct raises concerns about the companys commitment to customer satisfaction. As a result, I feel compelled to report this incident to the ********************************.

    Good morning,

    I want to start with the wife calling the office a day prior to the husband.  The wife called and, as with all our customers, I told her I would pass this information along to the owner, ****** Bilder, and he would reach out soon to schedule a time for *** to look at the problem. This has ALWAYS been the practice of our company. Apparently, she informed her husband *** was to meet her there, which was not correct information. I do not know why she felt she couldn't be honest regarding her and my conversation regarding the schedule. The same day *** reached out to her w/no response until the husband called the next day and demanded *** either come now or he would call another roofing company. This WILL void any workmanship warranty by Protech Roofing of Brevard. We cannot warranty a roof that another company has done work on, as we can NOT warranty other roofing companies work. The husband got very loud and disrespectful demanding *** do what he wants NOW!  *** did NOT curse at the husband, I was in the same office when the call took place, *** DID hang up on the husband as no one should be spoken to this way.  Within an hour, the husband called back and disrespected me, YELLING about *** hanging up on him and threatening to call the BBB and "make it known" he has a problem with Protech Roofing of Brevard.

    As BBB knows we are one of the few very reputable roofing companies in Brevard County and have been in business in the same town, ***********, ***, for over 35 years! Protech Roofing of Brevard is NOT in the business to be bullied by any customer especially one so disrespectful and arrogant to any of its employees. Protech Roofing of Brevard will not tolerate this from any customer.

    As the husband stated in his complaint, Protech Roofing of Brevard was willing to do the repair, under the warranty umbrella. Protech Roofing has been 100% transparent in regard to repairing this roof but unfortunately as with all customers, there may be other customers in front of them and they will need to practice patience.  The problem here seems to be the lack of patience and respect for any others.

    Feel free to reach out again if needed.  As BBB knows we have been a member for a very long time and will continue to be a member and offer our customers the same respect and courteousness as always.

    Good morning

    Unfortunately, it appears this gentleman has continued to be angry, and he continues to react accordingly. As HE has stated...Protech Roofing DID offer to repair the issue, AT NO CHARGE, it was NEVER about repairing the issue, it is about the homeowner realizing they will need to be patient as other consumers may need to come first. As it is the homeowner's roof, he may have any company do a repair on his roof, however...Like I said before, having another roofing company work on a roof that Protech has installed will void any workmanship warranty from Protech Roofing.

    I am rejecting this response because:  It's simple, I really don't care.  These people think I'm angry.  I really don't care, I just want others to know what kind of company they are dealing with.  And to be honest, I am sure this entire ordeal was from just miscommunication and could have been solved without going back and forth with these messages had the owner not cussed me as he hung up the phone.  I never once raised my voice and they know the truth.  At this point, like I said on the previous message good luck to them, but people need to know what kind of people they are.  I honestly had no issue from the beginning telling them I was going to have another company handle this.  My problem was they could not handle immediately when a storm was coming and I was going to have leaks.  I had another company that could handle same day so I paid someone else, I didn't come back to them saying they owe me anything.  I don't care about warranties.  That roof is so small it would only cost a minimal amount of money to repair.  I own over 30 houses and townhouses in *******, I'm not one of those guys making up stories to get something for nothing, my wife and I do this stuff as a hobby.  I'm happy to let this go but it's only right that people know what kind of company these people run.  I am happy to meet the owner at a restaurant and I will even buy just to discuss that this was blown into something that never should have blown up to.  If him and I agree shake hands that this was all miscommunication, I will happily remove all post about them and move forward.

    And so here we are again with dozens of phone calls over the last 2 months and once again the lady says, "they owner will get in touch with you." And, so far, we cant get any callback or appointment to get this fixed! It was always the same story from the receptionist, "All I can do is forward the message to the owner. I can't make him call you".. The owner or manager did call one Thursday in January 26th and said that someone would be out there that Saturday to check it and possibly fix it but, then, no one showed up, no call back and no further texts since then. So while they were quick to take a lot of our money to install the roof, the after sales support from this company has been horrible! All we want is for Pro-tech Roofing to honor their warranty, act like a professional company and FIX OUR ROOF LEAK.... we can finally get insurance!
