    We contracted Brevard Construction Company (BCC) on April 28, 2022, to remodel our kitchen with a 60-day turnaround. It is 7 months later, and they still have not finished the work. We have paid the contractor $84k. BCC was to provide a project manager and outlined this in their 'estimate' list; I ended up having to perform that job for most of the work effort. BCC failed to show up to the job for 'many' weeks at a time. I called and chased them. When they wanted to pick-up a check only, I told them, when they showed up to work, I would give them a draw once I saw work being performed.BCC is charging me for another customers material and labor for baseboards. I purchased 576 ft, they installed 370 ft, they charged 576 ft, and took the remaining material from my garage. They refused to return or credit me.BCC has not been transparent in their cost estimates and refuses to correct errors made on their part. BCC has changed the estimate with change orders that have not been agreed to by me. BCC installed pendant lights incorrectly but wants to charge me for fixing their error.BCC still needs to fix pendent lights, finish the trim on the island, fix the holes in the cabinets and the caulk molding, finish trim around base of perimeter cabinets Finish the job, billing adjustment, refund, apology,

    This project was delayed several times due to customer issues. They added additional cabinet doors, additional cabinet trim, we had to do repairs to their HVAC ducting system that were not contemplated in our contract. There were material delays etc. She also never responded for about two and a half months to our request to be able to get access to finish the little bit of remaining trim. Finally after the holidays I was able to get a hold of her and her husband. The work has all been completed and they have paid me in full. This case should be closed as no refund is due them. I agreed to a few minor revisions in the final meeting with them and like I said they paid the agreed upon number in full.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    it is not truthful.  I would not recommend this company to anybody.  They are not forthcoming, honest, or trustworthy.  They will twist the facts to meet their own agenda.
