I checked in March 11, 2024 checked out March 12, 2024. When I came to the front to check out the information I had already checked out.The paper was signed was not my signature and it was signed an hour after I checked in but march 10th 2024. Unemployed, I was told an employee named ******** said that it was clearly me on the camera.I don't know a ******** and how she thinks it's me on camera.Because I assure you it definitely was not me and they're not wanting to give me my $50, but it's the principle you're not gonna tell me.The i signed for something is clearly not.My signature and it's dated two days before I even was there. I Uploaded my receipt copy when for when I checked in. That's the first one I Uploaded and the 1 with the stuff at the top was the picture i took of their copy of the person that signed for my deposit. They also have camera footage. That they claim is me picking the deposit up but I know a 100%. It was not me. I'm actually on my way there now to see the girl that said it was me. This business is always getting over on people. I go there a lot and I am disgusted with how they're treating never Have had a problem there until this time.. The amount that I put on the complaint is the full amount that I spent. All I'm asking for is my $50 deposit.

Video shows that she picked up the deposit, but went behind the door to have the other person sign. She says she doesn't know me, but when she came on my shift we had a whole discussion on how I have known her for years. Management has decided not to refund the deposit, because of unregistered ppl in the room, and her screaming at and cursing out the desk clerks.

This is the second time this guest has claimed that she did not get her deposit refund.

After discussing it further, ************** has decided to refund her the $50.00. Please disregard previous statement regarding no refund.

This is the email I sent to Budget Inn and have received no response. We were told we would have to contact ********** to get our refund and ********** stated we would have to contact Budget Inn to get our refund. I don't know of any other way to get help with this matter. Thank you,******* and **********
    Hotel owner/ management
My family **********, booked a Budget inn hotel room in 4150 W kings street Cocoa, FL for 08-17-2022 through 08-20-2022 and the hotel itself was absolutely nasty. There were people dealing and doing drugs out front by the check in office, the floors, bathtub, pillows and sheets has black hairs all over and dirt lots of black dirt and bugs, bed bugs. The sheets did not look washed, had *** stains and had dirt and cigarette burns, along with the comforter. The bathroom was absolutely nasty. A hotel shampoo bottle was holding the bathroom light fixture in place, the toilet was dirty and had fresh 'poop' stains when we walked in, the bathtub was not cleaned, was peeling and had black hairs and dirt all over. The floors were black with dirt and sticky. We informed the front desk, which was as dirty as the room, and night management stated there was nothing they could do. We checked out and left. Our child is with us and we definitely did not want her around drug dealers and all that filth in the room. I have pictures. We asked for a refund at the night managers office and she stated we would have to ask **********. I emailed **********, booking office which we booked the room, and they stated we would have to get the refund through Budget Inn. I have pictures of the deplorable room.

Guest was refunded the two night they did not stay. Since they booked through a 3rd party, they would have to contact them to get a date that it will be in their accounts. I have sent a email asking for the refunded as the guest did not. They have agreed and said that it will be 7-10 business days. The guest did not come to desk to let us know of any problems with the room. We would have moved them right away Or refunded total amount paid. They have multiple chances to let us know as they were up and down the stairs when bringing up the luggage. After they made the complaint 2 days later, we inspected the room and none of what they say was true. According to our cameras there was no drugs dealing near the office. They said nothing to management when they were checking out. Otherwise we would have handles it right then and there . Guest's wife was upset that we required her ID upon check in. We have asked for the copy of the pictures, but there has been no answer

We still have received no refund. The person at the front desk of Budget Inn 4150 king street cocoa, fl stated she could not refund our money that it would have to come directly from***********. The attached photo below is from*********** stating our refund, basically, would need to come from Budget Inn. I did send pictures along with this complaint. I don't know what else to do in this situation.

    Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/09/09) */
I have emailed ********** again to release the funds back to the guest. They paid **********, so we can not refund money we never collected. ********** should send an email both to us and the guest regarding the refund. Guest needs to call ********** directly and perhaps speak to supervisor, as refunds are known to be hard to get from that company.
