I booked this hotel through Expedia for a one night due to we were leaving on a cruise the next day and prepaid for two separate reservations. Against my better judgment I listened to my husband and went with a cheaper lower rated hotel. We stayed one night as planned and checked out to head to Cape Canaveral. At check in I gave a credit card for incidentals. Upon my return home I checked my credit card account and noticed that I was charged $200 dollars. When I called the hotel I was told they charged me for missing towels and sheets. First off I've never in my life been accused of theft or damage or anything like this by any hotel I've ever stayed in. There has been no proof that we took anything from this ********* did they attempt to contact us or Expedia if they truly believed we took towels and sheets. Once again, I would not want any of the sheets and towels from this hotel let or any for that matter!! And since they are privately owned, I've come to realize that they can pretty much lie and flat out steel from guest with no recourse. I have disputed this with my credit card company, filed a complaint with Expedia which after this I will never book through them or a third party ever again, I've filed a complaint with Ramada by Wyndham and the BBB will be next. I will make it my mission to make this know about this hotel to anyone I can in hopes to avoid this flat out scam and thievery from happening to anyone else. If after reading this review you still find some reason to book with this hotel BE AWARE OF YOUR CHARGES!!! Take videos, pictures, have a front desk check the room at check in and check out so they cant falsely accuse you of anything I don't know if this was racially motivated or just random act of thievery but this was deffintly an injustice to me and my family.

I booked a two room stay, via ******** at this location from October 28th 2023 to October 29th 2023. Check in begin as normal until they pointed to a sign on their counter and informed me that there was a mandatory $150 deposit for incidentals that had to be provided in cash. I immediately thought this was suspicious because I have never been to any hotel motel establishment that requires a cash deposit for incidentals, let alone asking for one when they've already put my card on file. I didn't have the money and they pointed to an ATM in their lobby. I gave them $160 expecting a $10 refund instead he told me to give him $140 and I said okay. That's another red flag. If it's a mandatory charge of 150, why would you be willing to take $10 less? Why not just make change? Simple, they had no intentions of giving me the money back. I went out for Halloween and accidentally over consumed. This led to an accident in the room. I felt nauseous and didn't make it to the bathroom in time, and accidentally vomited on the bed. I then fell asleep on the other bed in my makeup. By boyfriend rolled the bedding up. When it was time to check out, they made me wait in the lobby while they checked the room. He came back and after spending time trying to get it out of him, because he was nervous and couldn't say it out right, he told me I wasn't getting my deposit back because of the dirty linen. A deposit for incidentals is for physical damage done to the property NOT for having to wash bed sheets that you would have to clean anyway! I verified that I wasn't getting my money back and asked if I was checked out. He said yes and I went home. They're still remodeling this location as it used to be a different motel. I believe this family is scamming the customers that come to their location by using any reason to keep the fee. I believe they're putting cards on file to satisfy Ramada's procedures, and then charging their own fee for incidentals. I but like a refund and them fined.
