    Company is supposed to provide maintenance services for electric storm shutters under service agreement. They have failed to complete repair in onsite visit and on at least three occasions have scheduled, then failed to show, for repairs in the last 7 weeks.

    I have attached a more descriptive time line for your review.   This is not a warranty issue.   Shutter Outlet has done everything they can to assist with trying to get this repaired.   And as stated in the attachment, I will be happy to schedule another appointment to get this matter resolved.  Thank you for your time.

    I am rejecting this response because it is about the quality and timeliness of service, not the warranty.

    Shutter Outlet routinely missed appointments causing and failed to communicate. They have proven to be unreliable.

    Let's try this again. 

    Shutter Outlet was contacted to renew the annual maintenance and to look at two shutters that were inoperative.

    We scheduled an appointment for 10/30/24 and when we arrived there was nobody home to let us in. We called every contact number we have to gain access but no one was available to answer the call. The technicians waited for over an hour and left.

    The appointment was rescheduled.

    The next appointment, 11/12/24, we were able to gain access and determined that the repairs were from missuse and approval would be needed to repair the damage. Again, no one was available to give us authorization to proceed so no repairs were done.

    When we were able to speak to you and offered an approximate cost based on potential damage seen without disassembly. You gave us approval to proceed.

    We made an appointment for 11/27/24 and we began repairs but unfortunately we needed additional parts so we scheduled to return on 12/19/24 to complete repairs.

    We returned on 12/19/24 and, no surprise, there was no one there to let us in. Again no response from our calls and we were forced to leave after 45 minutes.

    12/27/24 we returned at 1:00pm but were unable to completely finish due to an electrical issue related to the damage.

    Since that time, we have made two appointments where we have been to your home and there was no one to let us in to finish. 

    Let's recap.

    We have been to your home six times to address your shutter issues. Once in respone to the inital call, once to diagnose and once to repair. Three times we were left at the door because nobody was there to let us in.

    I appreciate that it took time to get to the bottom of the issue and that is unfortunate but between Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and three times where we were there and couldn't get in it is understandable.

    I suggest that we schedule an appointment to completer the repairs, we will show up, you show up and we complete the repairs.
