      At the end of 2024 I had these people come to my home to fix my computer. Mozilla/Firefox locked up, not working. Technician arrived and said he was not very familiar with Firefox, did not like it. He did not fix my computer in any way, I fixed it myself later by restoring to a backup. I paid $173.75 for nothing. This month (March 2025) I discovered they were charging me an additional $19.98 per month for who knows what. Yesterday my bank clawed the false charges back. They said I would have to call Geeks to cancel whatever they were doing. Just did that and they claimed my "account" had been cancelled today, what an incredible coincidence! This entire experience borders on the criminal but I am lucky that they did not try to steal even more than they did. For BBB to give them an A+ rating is ridiculous.

      ********. Dont use this company.They never showed up to service my computer. When I called them they said they called me and I never answered. They said they called some random phone number that I never gave them.Then they tried to trick me into saying that I want to late cancel the appointment. No, I want a refund for neglecting to provide the service entirely.They also put your card on a subscription that you dont ask for when you schedule an appointment.I tried to get a refund and cancel this scam of a subscription and they said that their refund department was currently closed and they would call me back. And guess whatthey never called me back.-1000/10.

      I have reviewed the sales call and confirmed that when our representative asked for the type of phone number you provided, you stated it was your number but offered an alternative contact number for the person who would be home. We saved this alternative number in your contact information as you requested.

      We attempted to call this number to inform you about the technician running late for the service. However, the number was disconnected. Since the service was scheduled for the evening and we were concerned that no one would be available due to the late hour, we decided to put the service on hold.

      Regarding the subscription, it was discussed during the call, and all terms were agreed upon. As no service was provided, a full refund has been issued and should reflect in your account within 3-5 business days or sooner.

      They cancelled 2 appointments and never ever showed up. Still charged us on CC. No visit they get no money!!!! BBB keep a close eye in these low life's.

      Hi ******. I have checked your account and I can see a completed service on 1/2/25. The service was rescheduled once which was due to the assigned technician being unavailable but a different technician did complete the work order. We also have a signed invoice of the work performed.

      Based on my experience, I believe this business is a scam and my advise to any potential customer is AVOID AVOID and AVOID them like the plague. First of all they began charging me multiple times in the following days instead of refunding me as they initially promised. I contacted my bank and they are currently being investigated for fraud. They promised I would not pay anything if I am not satisfied and I have been getting the runaround about their so called guaranteed refund. I attempted to get to get my laptop repaired by them and y laptop was not repaired. When I was inquiring about their service I informed them about special disclaimers regarding the type of laptop I have. they ignored it and assured me that I wouldn't have to pay anything if I am not satisfied and I have up to seven days to get refund if I am not satisfied. It turned out they wouldn't able to work on my laptop due to the disclaimer I notified them about and they still charged me hefty price. I only went to them because they were the only one who claimed they can work on it despite the disclaimer I told them about. Their service is also very expensive and I felt scammed. I called them on Thursday to notify them about my laptop not being repaired, they initially stated they would call me the next day. No one called me back so I called them on Friday evening. Then they said up to 48 hours and I would get a call on Monday. No body called me so I called on Monday and they postponed it and stated they are just working on my refund. But instead they continued to take unauthorized payment form my credit car and I reported this to my bank and they are being investigated for fraud.

      Hi Mussie. We have already reached out to you to explain we made an internal error here and have already apologized but would like to again.

      We did indeed charge for the service while the technician was onsite and when the technician submitted the invoice, unfortunately a member of our billing team did not notice the charge and subsequently charged the service a second time.

      As mentioned during our calls, if a charge back has been made then the refund will be made through the bank but maybe delayed in doing so. If you can speak to the bank to stop the dispute we can then proceed with a full refund as mentioned. 

      I would like to mention that we have run an investigation into the initial sales call and found from the recording that no false expectations were set, no promises were made guaranteeing a repair nor a refund as outlined in the complaint and can provide this to the BBB if required. 

      Due to our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee we have agreed to a full refund for the service and of course for the second charge made by mistake.

      My name is Robert ********, and am have been a technician with Geeks On Site since 2013 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I always treat customers with respect and honor, and prefer to do business in an honorable manner. From my experience with Geeks On Site, I can not believe the things I am reading about people's experience with Geeks On Site, and how they talk about what Geeks On Site has done to them. I, personally do not treat customers this way. I have very many happy customers. If you need to have a dependable technician in the DFW area, you can call Geeks On Site and request to have me, Robert ********, come and do the work that you need to have done. I will be glad to come and resolve your problems. I will not try to *** *** ***, as these reviews are talking about, because I have honor and morals.

      scheduled an appointment just for them to cancel 5 minutes before the ARRIVAL time. they then rescheduled it and still never showed up. I was able to fix the problem fortunately. I read their reviews and they are known for scamming people. take your biz elsewhere.

      This is a terrible company with which to do business. They are unprofessional and unreliable. They do not show up for appointments. They did not show up for a scheduled appointment today. When they attempted to find the technician, he did not respond to calls. Very professional. This has happened to me on more than one occasion. You pay an annual fee for service. Calls to this company apparently go to a call center which then has to find a technician. The wait times can be interminable. Because the technician is also doing other work, your computer is then unavailable for hours. If your computer shuts down during their work and you are not available, you have to start the whole process over the next day. Trying to get information from this company results in extremely long wait times on hold while they go back and forth with their technicians. You will deeply regret doing business with this company.

      Do not use Geeks on Site. They are very expensive, charging by the hour, and have an extremely inefficient business model. They keep their customers waiting on the phone for extraordiarily long periods of time. They also do NOT stick to their word. They came to my house to try to recover my lost files and could not. They were here for 3 hours. As the charges were adding up and the tech was unable to fix the computer, I told the tech and the manager agreed that they would not charge me any more money beyond what was already agreed to. Since then, they keep insisting on charging me an additonal fee eventhough the manager agreed that no additonal charges would be issued. This is a very disreputable and inefficient company. Do not use them!!!!

      Hi ****, firstly thank you for choosing Geeks on Site as I see you have used us a few times now. There is a difference of opinion here as the original job description does not detail any data recovery but the tech did have to reinstall Windows which could result in some data loss. You did purchase a fixed three hour block and as the tech ran over this during the installation process additional charges did occur. We did run an investigation of all the calls ************** no agreement made to you in regards to the additional charges but we have since agreed on a price and I am glad this has now been resolved.

      I can't give negative stars which they well deserve. A high colonic with battery acid is more enjoyable. I have used,them in the past....... BUT no more. I was having internet connectivity issues. A technciaan was sent out to address the issues. He spent about an hour resolving it....BUT the fix lasted approximately 2 days. I requested a technician be sent having used only 1 hour of the 3 hour block I had purchased. There were a couple of cancellations before help arrived. That technician got things running......for approximately 2 days. I once again requested help. They balked in assisiting me. I was told that the last technician had said I passed out during the last call and I required ambulance evacuation. ***** is not true yet they insisted that i was. Afgter speaking with customer service agent I inssited that I receive a refund of the last 2 used hours. The customer service agent said they would contact me by the end of the day with an update on the status of the refund. No call was received.....and expect that one will not be forthcoming. Use them at your peri.....better yet avoid them like the plague.

      I should have done some research but was in a bind. Needed my computer restored and files recovered. They did neither. They said there were no guarantees and I get that, but then they say I'm going to be charged ***** a month for a subscription to their service. Tell me why would I want this if you can't fix my computer? I told them I did not want the subscription, and the person I spoke with said okay I would not be charged. Well, guess what. I was charged. Now sitting on phone trying to get through. But I guess they don't want to answer because they are well aware of what they are up to.
