      Details of the Complaint:In 2023, I settled a medical bill with KidzMedical and received confirmation of full payment in May 2024. However, in October 2024, I received a letter claiming a new balance and a threat of legal action if not resolved within 20 days.Timeline of Events:October 31, 2024: Called KidzMedical to inquire but received no response.November 5, 2024: Left a voicemail and spoke with another representative who suggested emailing with proof of payment.November 6, 2024: Sent an email with payment proof.November 25, 2024: Followed up with an email to the legal department.End of November 2024: Received a legal threat letter.December 2, 2024: KidzMedical acknowledged the review.December 3, 2024: Received an apology for misinformation and responded requesting a settlement.December 5 & 9, 2024: Sent follow-up emails with no reply.Issues and Concerns: KidzMedical's lack of response and continued legal threats have caused stress and concerns over my credit report.Desired Outcome: Confirmation of settlement and assurance of no negative impact on my credit.

      KIDZ Medical Services has been caring for infants, children and moms throughout ************* for nearly 40 years, and we aim to handle every billing inquiry with the utmost detail and care. Our representatives have been in contact with Ms. ******** via email and phone to clarify her outstanding balances, after conducting a careful review of her account. We make every effort to settle balances for services rendered with the insurance provider first, and patients are notified when there is a portion that remains their responsibility. We have shared all the detailed billing information with Ms. ********* and she understood that the remaining portion is her responsibility based on her insurance carriers terms. We have extended a courtesy discount to Ms. ******** in an effort to settle her outstanding balance.

      Just like the many other complaints. This Business sends random bills. And makes threat to suit for unpaid.When we call to ask what the bill is about they have no idea.This is a scam company,They should not be allowed.This is harassment!

      We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and frustration you've experienced regarding this billing inquiry. Our records show that the patient's father contacted our office on 4/2/24 and spoke with one of our billing representatives to go over the services rendered by our pediatric specialist, and the balance due. There has also been subsequent email communication with our administrators about the concern. Our goal is to ensure that our patients and families are satisfied with the care they receive and that any billing inquiries are clarified.       I received a bill from this business saying that the bill is past due even I have never received a letter, message or other notification from them.

      Good afternoon, 

      Please be advised that the balance received pertains to the services rendered on ************************* son, *****, from date of birth 12/20/2022 until discharge on 12/23/2022 as well as the hearing screening administered on the patient.  **************** Cid contacted our office on 6/02/2023, a day after she filed this complaint.  During this call, she was explained the services and that our claims were denied because the patient did not show active with the **** policy previously provided.  ******************** contacted the insurance thereafter who advised that the eligibility issue will be corrected and to call back in a couple of days to check for this.  We were provided this information by ******************** and asked her to contact us after she calls the insurance so that we're aware of the status; however this never occurred and the balance on the account remains. Attached please find a copy of the billing statement for ************************* account.  For any further questions or issues, please contact our billing department at ************.

      I, ***********************, have received one bill on Dec 26th, 2022 about a emergency pediatric service from 11/09/2022 for my son *******************. I have not ever taken my son to this particular doctor so I was confused by that and had already paid a medical bill from that date that I had taken my son to ********************** for an ear infection. I ignored the bill because I looked further into Kidz Medical Services as a whole and there were many reviews that claimed they were a scam company and that they double charged for services. Now I have more recently received a letter claiming that $195.98 is now hour months past due and they will be reporting me to ********************* and possibly filing a lawsuit against me. This letter did not contain any legitimate bill and simply stated the amount owed with a website link that doesnt show the bill either, just allows you to enter a random amount to pay. The website is labeled www.kidzmedical.com. Again, I have never been to this office at *************************************************** ************, ** *****. So again, I look into them more and see even more reviews showing this is a scam so I do not want to pay in case it is. Once again, I receive another email a day ago from them claiming I owe $994 with a different website attached called athenahealth. I am somewhat unsure whether this is a legitimate business because it seems that they are, however I am very suspicious that they are charging me for services when I have never been there before. Ive seen that many people have reported them to the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent charges so I wanted to ensure this is a legitimate charge through the BBB before paying and possibly getting scammed.

      Good afternoon, 

      Please be advised that the correspondence and bills ************ has received pertaining to a balance of $195.58 are legitimate. This balance pertains to the physician services rendered to the patient, ****, when he visited the Bethesda ** on 11/09/2022.  *** hospital charges for the actual ** visit, while we collect for the services rendered by the actual physician treating patients in the ** Department. *** $195.98 ************ has received was applied by her insurance carrier, Aetna, towards the deductible under the member's policy.  I'm attaching a copy of the account's billing statement for review. 

      As to the link ************ mentioned she received showing a balance of $994.00, please be advised that this is legitimate as well.  We are currently in the process of switching billing and collection systems, which took place for all ** services in January of this year.  As a result, all of our billing is now completed through ******* which sends the guarantor a link whenever a balance is outstanding.  We apologize for the confusion this has caused.  ************ pertains to the ** visit made by **** on 1/05/2023, where he was treated by one of our providers.  Because we do not have any insurance on file, ************ received the entire balance.  If there is insurance that could cover these services, please contact our office as soon as possible so that we may resolve this matter.  You may contact our customer service department at ************** or via email at **************************************.  I've included a copy of the statements that were previously sent to ************ regarding this balance.
