    We hired this landscape company to install a single row of privacy bushes along side a length of fence ( 40' ) between our house and neighbors to enhance newly installed fence . We asked Rogers for a price for this work ( proposal attached dated 9.28.2023 for ****** ) . We accepted his price and directed him to go ahead . After some work was done rogers asked for payment . When i went to inspect the work i saw only half the job was done ax. *****' with the rest of the fence still bare . I contacted Rogers ( usually by text all texts attached ) and asked when he will finish and he said it was finished . I pointed out that only about half the work was finished and he said that was all i asked for . I again pointed out the many pics and or diagrams of work area i had originally sent him before his estimate clearly showing a 40' length of work area and even his own proposal which indicated right on it 40' and he said well that will be another ****** . I then said why would i pay extra ? I was very clear and you understood clearly as well. as your proposal indicates 40' . the next morning i relented and for whatever reason offered to pay him an extra ****** which he was grateful for . he then admitted the mistake ( see texts ) and not his employees . So now a different crew comes out with plantings that are not near as large or healthy as the first installed set and they are spaced twice as far apart as first set . they also started this row next to fence as required but by the time they planted the last plant they were 3' away from the fence for no reason . Two of these sparsely , crooked planted plants died right away and yes we watered them 3 x per day as we did the first set planted a few days earlier . We contacted rogers and he said they need more water ( didn't ask how much we were already watering them ) . half of our 40' run looks perfect the second half is mostly dead , sparsely and crookedly planted . he has ignored us and we will report him
