In 2019 we Contracted with Design Revelation to install vinyl plank flooring throughout our entire home (1980 square ft) We purchased the flooring and Design Revelation owner Nigel Flemmings proceeded with install. Sub floor (concrete) was high in numerous spot and he only fixed the ones he wanted even after we told him of two other spots in our kitchen that were also high spot. Five years later the flooring is popping up and delaminating. We hired him back and asked why the flooring was coming apart and just ignored us. I needed a handicap bathroom (Rt leg AK amputee and 100% Disabled Vet) and was offering a good deal but quit 2 weeks into the job and stole 5K upfront money paid to him. Okaloosa County code inspector asked for him to return our money but Mr. Nigel Flemming refused and not been heard from yet. Tired to Plumb my bath but has no license to Plumb, my licensed plumber found his defective work and fixed but was to late because Mr. Flemming has already quit and stolen my 5K. BUYER BEWARE OF DESIGN REVELATION AND MR NIGEL FLEMMING!

This review is nothing more than a blatant lie meant to hurt my business and reputation which is actually defamation! Why would you hire someone again if they supposedly messed up your install back in 2019? Meanwhile 6 years later you're gonna say something in a review about that install which is a lie. 6 years of wear and tare on a floor with zero calls or text to say hey our floor is delaminating, which its not. It was damaged by the home owner in 1 place. The home owners were very happy with their install or else they would not of paid me until they were. It was actually an insurance job and I went out of my way to help them with the adjuster at no extra charge.
Flash forward to 2024. They wanted a tile shower installed and a complete bathroom remodel. The home owner was not disabled at this time. He had an unfortunate skateboarding accident I believe the previous year and broke his leg. Long story short he was lacking mobility in the leg so he chose to have it amputated in 2024. The leg had nothing to do with his previous military service like the post implies. I am grateful for his military service but it has nothing to do with this situation.
At first they wanted a shower with a curb. I tried talking them into a curbless shower but they didn't want to pay the extra for it. The problem started when the husband would tell me he wanted a specific design then the wife would come in and tell me she wanted something different. After changing there minds several different times and me removing completed work and changing it to accommodate their latest change (without charging them extra) I finally had to make a video with the wife telling me exactly what she wanted. I did exactly like she said in the video and I came back to install concrete board and found she had the plumber remove all of my framing for the bench and back wall. I proceeded to ask her tried explaining to her it wasn't cool for her to tell the plumber to do that because it was finished work and she lost her mind, started cussing me as she proceeded to say it was her house and she'll do whatever the hell she wants etc. Then she told me to leave. I packed up my tools and did just that. This was after we had already demoed the old bathroom, changed the layout of the bathroom and repaired the drywall. About $3200 worth of work. After that i received threatening texts which escalated the situation. They reported me to the county office for supposedly doing plumbing work which I don't even offer plumbing services because I don't know how to plum. I met with the county official explained the situation, he called the wife where she told him she paid for a plumber to do 100% of the work in the bathroom. Only connection i had to plumbing was recommending a licensed plumber. She lost her mind with the county official and would not listen to reason. He told her he found no evidence I performed unlicensed plumbing work or paid a plumber to work at her home. During the process of the conversation her husband was cussing me and threatened to kill me in the background while on the phone with the county official and me sitting in his office. Prior to that I had told the official I would be happy to pay back the unused portion of the deposit, but once I heard him threaten me I told them all future contact needs to be made through my attorney! I have 4 kids the youngest being 6 months old and ever since the threat on my life I have lived under immense stress and anxiety about running into the husband and fearing for my life as he is a concealed weapons owner.
To this point my attorney has not heard from them! Why would I want to have any contact with a person who threatens my life over $1800? Which they could have gotten back through the county building official but couldn't be professional or rational enough to allow that to happen.
Also this was not a two timeline, it was a couple months. Also their finished shower ended up being different again from what she told me she wanted in the video. Which was completed by someone else. No refunds will be provided at this time especially after receiving this blatantly defamatory review and having my life threatened!
