      All Pro Blinds is misrepresenting itself as a licensed dealer and installer for Hunter Douglas products. This lie resulted in misplaced trust in a contract for incomplete services.

      Jeff Vaughn sold me Hunter Douglas Nantucket electric shades in 12/20. I paid a $7000 deposit. The project began with numerous delays & reschedules. Jeff was always polite but could not source the products. In 6/21 Jeff sent me a new contract showing the job paid in full at $7000 because of the delays. 2.5 years later the job STILL wasn’t completed. Jeff had finally installed the shades, but 2 of the motors did not work. In 6/23 he said the motors were covered by warranty and he would replace them at no charge. After more delays, Jeff was a no show for our appointment on 12/15/2023. He called me back on 12/18, and I asked what happened. His reply: “You know what, find someone else to finish your project.” And he hung up. That was our last contact.

      I called Hunter Douglas. The product rep said they had no record of Jeff Vaughn or All Pro Blinds as licensed sellers or installers. Jeff lied to me, and potentially many other customers about his status. He accepted my money, which was not a small sum, and a full 3 years later left me with 2 broken motors, an incomplete project, and the onus to find a more credible and qualified installer.

      Besides all of the frustration of these delays, I also had to rearrange my work schedule around all the appointments Jeff missed. I work in Asia, and commuting from Florida requires planning. Jeff’s unreliability was a major disruption to my job.

      I’m not seeking any recompense from Jeff, but I think consumers in our area should know that this business is selling a lie. And that lie will cost time, money, frustration, and ultimately dissatisfaction.
