    I have hired this company to remove the solar panels that had installed so I could change the roof and then to have it reinstalled. I have already paid 50% of the price for removal and installing the solar panels and even though the permit has been approved more than a month ago I have not been able to schedule the removal of the solar panels. I cant have ******* fixed until the movers the solar panel and the roof is leaking and causing further damage to my house. They keep saying somebody will call me back to schedule the appointment, including that the owner will call me back and they never hear back from them. Now they just stopped answering my phone calls.

    After I send a message saying I was filing a complaint with BBB they contacted me and scheduled for the service to be performed.

    I had my solar system install completed in December 2022, as of today my system has not been registered with Ephase or has gone through the application process with ****************** for netmetering to install my meter. I have already made payments for the system but only received false promises from Culter Bay solar and Mosaic on resolving this issue. I would like to resolve this within a week or have the system removed.

    Good afternoon:

    Cutler Bay Solar Solutions is not a party in this issue.  We are the installers of the system hired by Kin homes to do the installation.  Customer entered into a contract with KIN homes and paid Kin Homes for the installation, not Cutler Bay Solar Solutions.

    Cutler Bay Solar Solutions installed the solar system passed all of the local building inspections and registered the system with Enphase as required in our agreement with Kin Homes.  The homeowner is responsible to complete and signed an interconnection agreement with their local **************** in this case Homestead Power.  We have assisted this customer with the process, we have provided the forms, the contact information as well as the technical assistance with the data.  ******************* has several different requirements from the homeowner in order to enter into this interconnection agreement.  **************** has not completed the forms required for the interconnection and has not followed up with his utility company.  Cutler Bay Solar Solutions has no legal authority to sign and or to enter into agreements with the *************** on behalf of the Homeowner.  Our office has worked with **************** for over two months trying to get him to engage his utility company but to this day he has not.

    The solar system meets all of the criteria designated by this *************** and it is ready to be turned on once the homeowner signs this agreement and the *************** issues Permission to Operate.  This is a legal requirement in the **************** that can not be overlooked.  Only the customer can obtain Permission to Operate from their local ***************.  We have been waiting for 59 days for this customer to complete his agreement with Homestead Power.

    I am very unhappy. When *** came to my home I asked him a quote on a system that would offset 100% my electric bill he went in my FPL account to see what my yearly usage was and gave me the quote. But our system isnt producing anywhere near what we use. For an idea from August 2021 to ***** 2022 (9 months) our system produced ****** kWh . I checked on my FPL account and I saw that the year before we had the solar panels our average monthly usage was **** kWh (***** kWh a year)Clearly its not producing enough. Since ****** kWh divided by 9 months equals ***** kWh monthly average, way less then **** kWh needed . And they have done nothing to fix it. By the way *** told me that the month ***** would be the highest production and it produced **** kWh

    ****************** We just reviewed your file, I do not see any notes of you ever contacting our company with this issue.  Looking at your solar system I see that you have 26 ****** 330 watt panels.  They were installed in June 2021 and then removed again in May 2022 to allow a new roof installation.  Panels were re installed on August of 2022.  Unfortunately during the time the panels are off the roof they do not produce.  If we look at the production levels for the time the panels have been installed you will see an average daily production of 32KWH per day.  I do believe this is very close to our projected performance, but it is a little short.  Please contact our office so we can discuss if any other factor is affecting your production, we take a lot of pride in providing our customers with the right solutions and will certainly do the same for you.  I am sure that if any of the equipment is falling short we can correct it.  Please contact us so we can find a mutual solution.
