    After I placed 10lbs. of seed on properly prepared and fertilized turf in conjunction with a test pan, watered every day other than rain days for a month. You then have the audacity to imply it's my fault, that's absurd when not one seed germinated. Then to offer a 20% discount on more of the same, that's the earmark of extremely poor customer satisfaction. No doubt you'll soon discover there's a problem with that lot number although I'm certain you could care less. There's always social media for firms of this nature.

    We take all concerns seriously and want to ensure our customers are successful with their plantings. Our agronomist personally reviewed the situation, including photos of the planting area, and outlined several common factors that may prevent germination including dry surface conditions and incorrect seeding depth. These are not uncommon challenges, even when care is taken, and we always aim to help customers adjust and troubleshoot for better results.

    We also confirmed that the seed lot in question meets all required standards and passed independent germination testing prior to shipping. While the seed itself was not found to be faulty, we extended a courtesy discount as a gesture of goodwill and to support in the next planting attempt.

    We spent about $1,000 in Bahia seed with Hancock Seed Company, originally to fill some spots on our pasture. Prior to seeding we completed trials with various conditions to see which will be the best to use. We learned the seed won't germinate no matter what. Pictures were sent, the support was focused on excuses like too deep in the soil, ** value too high. After we proved the ** was exactly what Hancock required, they stopped responding. We addressed the lack of germination multiple times and got all kind of excuses over a period of 4 months. Our request to refund the money was ignored. We read in reviews on BBB Hancock would be willing to "work with the customer" which also isn't true. They just ignore you and how you give up. That company needs to be reported, no other company can keep your money for a product which does not perform at all. Imagine you purchase a car and the engine does not start. How can the seller make it look like it's your fault and ignore your complaints?

    There are many factors when planting seed which will affect the germination and growth. Seed requires specific temperatures, depth, moisture, sunlight, pH and much more. We do our best to provide customers with planting instructions because something as little as seed depth can be extremely significant in the results of germination. 1/4 inch can be the difference of successful germination and no germination. Assisting our customers through the planting process with education and experience allows us the pleasure of helping to achieve beautiful, lush lawns/pastures. We were happy to work with the customer to have a successful planting! In addition, the seed was tested by a third party laboratory to ensure germination was not only above the legal minimum, but it was also at our high quality standards.     Hancock Seeders, l just want my money back. You can explain and excuse your problems or difficulties to germinate to whomever you want, all the bad reviews speak for themself. I bought seed from Tractor Supply and everything worked just great. I don't need your seed no longer, it's packaged and ready to return, if you like, l even bring it back to you. Since you tested your product and you are convinced about it, you should have no problem just taking it back and reimburse me and we just forget about that disaster. I assume your service and confidence does not go that far and you will leave me sit on my $1,000 bad investment. Feel free to surprise me, l would at least have something positive to say about Hancock No-germination seed.
