I have been trying for several months to obtain loan through my bank. My bank States the following, The title work still shows there is an open Permit from ****** well and septic services. If the work has been completed and paid in full, please have them complete the attached Contractors Affidavit and email a completed copy back to me.Property Address: ************************************************************** My bank and I have tried several times to get this company to fill out an affidavit and they have refused. The contractor ****'s homes said that everything has been paid in full and there is no lean on the property. I purchased the property April of 2022 this this has nothing to do with me as the home owner but yet they are refusing to cooperate. I was hung up on today by ****** when asked if they can please fill out the affidavit that the bank is requiring. Business Response

Customer reached out to get a Contractor's Affidavit signed by us that was completed by her lender.  It states we have a Notice of Commencement open on the property and references a public records recording affidavit.  However, the affidavit simply states they have the new septic system installed as per the **** of ************* Protection and the Hernando County Health ****.  This affidavit is required to be completed and recorded by the health **** in order to close the septic permit and get a ** from the building ****.  There is NO Lien or open permits on this property.  I have tried several times to explain this to both the loan officer at the credit union and to the customer.  I have asked to lender to get an actual title report done on the property from a title company instead of an in house search.  I have also provided a name and phone number to the Hernando County Health **** so they can verify there are no open permits.  I can't release a lien that doesn't exist.  I have included a copy of the Affidavit that has been recorded and the paperwork from the lender releasing a Notice of Commencement that does not exist.

I do want this customer to be able to get her loan, but it is not us standing in her way.
