      I had a tankless water heater installed and my main panel replaced in August of 2022. I was planning on having kitchen and bathroom renovations done and had just given my stove to my brother (had been using it for years) but he was selling his condo and needed to put in a stove and I figured I would not need one short term. As it turns out it is difficult to find contractors to give quotes or do work at this time. I finally got tired of using a hot plate and ordered a stove. When I went to prep the area I noticed the outlet was gone. (since I didn't have a stove in August I didn't think to look for the outlet since it made NO sense that they would have touched it). I don't know if they used that circuit for the new water heater or just covered it up but I did not ask for the outlet to be touched. I contacted the vendor on tuesday and explained. We both agree that it makes no sense but - I have had no other vendors work on my condo so the only possibility is that they did something when they were working on the water heater (installed about 2 feet from where outlet was and now has a faceplate cover). I was promised that someone would be by before the new stove was delivered to fix it. The stove is coming tomorrow and they did not contact me back to let me know status and have declined the phone calls I tried to make to contact the vendor. I have family coming for christmas and need to be able to feed them. I don't understand why they covered up the outlet to start with - it makes no sense but they should correct their mistake.
