      In regards to the van photo the customer attached, our advertising states MOST Carmax appraisals, not all Carmax appraisals. Nothing states ALL or ALWAYS proving our advertising is not false as mentioned. Also before we move forward with a deal we always confirm the customers payment history to prevent fraud. We contacted the financial institution to verify the payment history and was told that it could not be provided a third party and can only be mailed to the customer. Without having this information verified we could not move forward with the transaction. Unfortunately it is a common scam for consumers to manipulate their payoff and lower the amount due for it to only reverse a week or two later. So payoffs / payment hose need to be verified with the bank otherwise it creates too much risk. The idea that he was given a $400 check is also incorrect because we would only provide the equity for the vehicle not a $400 check. For example customer has an offer for ****** we offered ******. ****** is owed to a bank so the check received will be for $2400 and the remaining $****** will be sent directly to the bank. So the idea that he received a $400 check is also false. Our attached reviews will show our reputation is stellar within the community.

      I am rejecting this response because:what they are stating is a vulgar manipulation of the truth.

      We gave them FULL ACCESS TO THE FINANCE ACCOUNT, and they had the opportunity to revise the account, to the point that they were able to get from that web site, a letter with the final amount that we owed to the finance company. That is why they gave my sister a check,  because they knew that everything was clean.

      Now they are changing the argument, saying that there is a common fraudulent practice to give false DOCUMENTATION regarding payments and debt balances,  but that day,  we were told a complete different story.

      We were told that the manager was dubious because of the amounts and the way payments were made in the previous months of the financing process, which was easily explained, that it was because MY SISTER WAS PAYING MORE MONEY EACH MONTH TO LOWER THE BALANCE AND INTEREST, which they had the opportunity to revise when they accessed the finance account when we gave them permission to revise the account activity.

      What this company did to us, is just an example of how some unprofessional managers think that they can treat customers in any way they want.  

      And please, do not forget that I was confronted by one of the employees, asking me why I published my bad review, and since that very precise moment, everything changed, they told my sister to give them the check back, AND THEY PUT THE CAR PLATE BACK, in a tremendous demonstration of disrespect for customers.(I have the pictures of the car without plate and then again with the plate back in place) 

      And please, do not let this manager to get away with that FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND MISLEADING INFORMATION issue. 

      The lack of professionalism is one thing, but the fact that they have false advertisement and people shouting info that is not real, that needs to be addressed with all the rigor of the law.

      A brief analisis of the picture I sent as evidence, is enough to understand how evident was the purpose to deceive customers, a small printing with ambiguous or confusing wording, AND A BIG PRINTING MESSAGE STATING SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TRUE. 

      Due to all the above mentioned arguments, I DO NOT ACCEPT THE RESPONSE MADE BY THIS BUSINESS.
