  I arranged with **** to have a table and chairs to be picked up and delivered. **** did the transportation and disassembled the entire table( only a few screws really needed to be removed). When removing screws they bent many of them- when reassemblong they didn't line everything up correctly first round re assembled to try to get leaves to open, adjusted multiple times to be straight and then said s**** were stripped and they couldn't fix the table because they can't get screws out that they stripped. Table isn't opening and closing smoothly and can't be placed elsewhere because they striipped the screws into the table! They led us to believe their insurance would cover having someone come out and remove said screws as wel as put screws in properly to allow leaves to open and close as they should. Refusing to help and telling me insurance policy they have will not cover their work! Owner, ****, hasn't returned any calls!

  We let customer know about the screws being stripped. We also told customer that at delivery if they had new screws, we would replace them. When we arrived, customer stated they did not get new screws. We offered to correct the problem, but customer said elderly gentleman could not be expected to get new screws.

  We did not lead ********* into believing our claims department would pay for the claim. What we said is we would submit the claim.  The claim was denied.

  I gave a precise list of items to be moved. They estimated 499 cubic feet. That isn't much. At the time of the move they jacked the price up 50%. Then would not return my phone calls. They purposely underestimated cubic feet so that they could charge more.

  I scheduled to have movers come out Saturday 8/20. **************** confirmed the time the movers would come out. Which the time they were supposed to be out to my house was 8am that morning. I stated to customer service I work 7 days straight 5 days double shifts. The 20th is the only day I had to be moved out of my place. I had to be to work at 2pm that Saturday. Really needed the movers to come out that morning to get everything moved. In a timely matter so I can get to work aswell as turn keys over to landlord. **************** added everything I stated above. In the memo. Saturday morning came I received a call from the movers at 8:30 a.m. For them to tell me they can't come out to move my items. Due to them having an overload. I would need to contact customer service. In regards to rescheduling. Which they are closed on weekends. I had to wait that Monday to speak to some one about the matter. Which they took an 100 dollar deposit from me, Upon scheduling.Monday came I reached out to a lady with a Jamaican accent. She was very rude from the start. Stated she can't place the manager on the phone nor will she provide me with the corporate number. There policy states no refunds at all. As I mentioned even tho it's not my fault. Still stated no refunds. I voiced how I am a single father moving into an shelter due to rent crisis. Didn't have the money for movers from the start. Used money to live off of in shelter. To be able to get my furniture out of the house. For disassembly purposes. Had to call out from work ask around for help from neighbors purchase an uhaul truck just to do what I paid to be done. As I looked further into the company. I am noticing they are scammers. I am not the first this was done to. People be aware. Life is hard as it is and with people like this around. It makes things harder!
