    When you miss an estimate by 50%, something is terribly wrong! I am extremely disappointed with Daytona Elite Dental. To have the audacity to think that this type of misjudgment is ultimately the patients responsibility is unacceptable.As a senior citizen on a fixed income, this error has caused significant financial stress. The sad part is to cover the gap, I have to sacrifice some essentialssomething that is not possible. The fiduciary responsibility was to verify and provide accurate estimates. I sought their services based on their reputation, but my experience has been deeply frustrating. The initial cost estimate for my treatment was significantly lower than what I was eventually charged, with no clear or reasonable explanation for the discrepancy. This substantial underestimation left me blindsided financially.Furthermore, the clinics handling of this issue was disappointing. Instead of addressing their mistake, they deflected the blame onto me, suggesting that I should have anticipated such a large margin of error. This lack of accountability and transparency is concerning and undermines trust.I urge potential patients to be cautious and seek clear, written estimates and explanations before committing to treatment here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Daytona Elite Dental to others.

    We strive to be as upfront and transparent as possible with our patients. We gather the most information we can from the insurance to have the most accurate estimated copay possible but unfortunately, we have no control as to what the insurance approves or denies to pay. We provided same day services to you to help address your concerns on the day of your exam. Therefore, we were not able to send your treatment plan for a preapproval with the insurance to get an even more accurate copay. Your insurance plan denied part of the claim due to them not covering tooth-colored fillings on the back teeth. That is beyond our control. Furthermore, we understand that everyones financial situations are different and not everyone can afford to pay unplanned balances and that is why we offered to have you pay what you can monthly until the balance is set without any sort of late fees or interest charges. We hate to lose you as a patient, but our doors are open if you ever decide to give us another try.
