But then my truck was suddenly going somewhere else but the truck would be back in ** on December 23rd. But on December 23rd the truck had suddenly teleported to *******. I want to inform you that weve been working closely with the authorities, and Ive personally spoken to investigators about the wrongdoing committed by *************, not just in your case but with other customers as well. While I know this doesnt undo what happened, please know we are actively pursuing this matter with the authorities.


    From what I understand, your move and belongings have been delivered, so Im hoping we can bring this issue to a close. Since youve already filed a case, I will inform Officer ******* from ****************** to include you with the other cases being investigated.

    No I am not satisfied.This the first time they admitted they were a moving /storage company They advertised as a moving and storage company.The day of the move ****** did not tell me I was signing a new contract but inventory sheet. They doubled the price of delivery and then took my belongings south .     I wanted to address your complaint. Please keep in mind that we are a moving broker, and the contractor assigned for your move, ******* For You, covers the *******/******* area. Your move was picked up on November 25th/26th, and at that point, the total space for your move was estimated at 519 cubic feet.


    However, if there were additional items or furniture when the movers arrived, this would require more space, which is why the price increased. You signed multiple contracts with us, agreeing to all the terms and conditions. You also signed a contract with ******* For You, agreeing to their terms and conditions as well.


    According to the contract and the credit card authorization form you signed when making your deposit, our brokerage services were successfully completed, and the services are considered rendered.

    Booked moving company 10/04/2024. Paid deposit $762.27, it was informed that the rest of the amount was to be paid for the movers at pick up and drop off. $600 was paid to the movers. No given information prior was that the movers were a third company United American hired. I signed a contract with United American Moving agreement of payment, and move. I also signed a second contract with the movers after I paid and finished with United American. Movers picked up on 10/09/2024. Apparently contracted said that they have up to 30 business days (not including weekends or holidays) to deliver from first date of delivery, which is 10/15/2024. the 30 days was up 12/03/2024. our belongings have still not been delivered. No one is answering calls, texts or emails. Moved from ******* to *******, **.

    The driver, that finally delivered our goods, told us he just got called in early December to get hired to make the drive.

     That means our stuff sat for over a full month. With no call backs and no updates.

    This company is lying. They were still getting calls from me for the full month of November.

    Further, I made the complaint after In November  and in my compliant, I was clear that my belongings were still not delivered.

    They won't take my calls. They won't process my complaint for late delivery or refund me for the delay or the lie that the delivery company gave on how much stuff was being shipped.

    ompany claimed we had more size in items than we initially disclosed. But this was not true, as I measured all items as part of my inventory list. The demanded an extra 3500 on the day of the move, or they will not move it. This is after they packed it on the truck. I called and advised I hand measured everything, and I know this is not true. There response was they could not stack all the items that I would stack due to liability, so therefore it takes up more room. I disagreed, and then they stated I could pay only $1,500 and they will still do the work. I paid this additional amount because I needed my stuff to be *************** issue. I call daily to both companies with no call backs from either company.We are now at 41 calendar days, and 28 business days. Well passed the contract promise of no more than 21 business days. No call backs and the *** sends texts only to me and AU on Mondays promising items to be packed/shipped on the upcoming weekend. To no avail.

As both contracts were fulfilled and your belongings have been delivered, our services are considered complete.

    October ******* They agreed to deliver the items within a 14 day time period. It is now November ******* and ************* who they gave the job order to has not delivered. Ive tried countless times to contact these 2 companies and they refuse to answer my phone calls.

    On 7/11/2024 we signed a contract with United American Moving and Storage as we were told it was a 5-star company, would work with us and handle the entire move. This statement turned out to be false. We initially paid them $983.80 a a deposit with the understanding that $600.00 paid to the driver at pickup and $600.00 at delivery for a total of ($1239.08 total). ************* showed up for our move and informed us that we pay $989.09, not the original $600.00 as quoted by United. Since it was late (9P) and we had to be on our way we reluctantly paid it. When I tried to contact the driver to find out about delivery, he told me October 18th - ********************************* the contract. I have made many attempts to contact the mover to only be told via text that he would call me back. He never does. The last and only time I spoke with him was on November 6th when he told me we were the last job on the truck, and it would take 4-6 days for delivery. When I pressed him further on it, he told me he would call me back and never did. Now it is November 22, and we still do not have our delivery. My texts go unanswered, and his voicemail is always full. When I am able to leave a message, he never calls back. I have attempted many times to tell him about my husband's mobiity status i/e he is disabled, with limited mobility. Everything we own is on the truck and this delivery should have been here as it is now November 27th with no word about it from anyone. United American Moving and Storage who hired this person does not seem to think they have any liability or accountability, so they do not follow up with any requests I have made for information and updates. It has become more and more problematic for my husband to get around without these things. We entrusted both of these companies with our goods and paid for services we did not get. NO ONE AT ****/MNS Transport seem to care to help with a resolution.

    We want you to know that we are actively working with local authorities in ********** regarding MNS Transports unethical business practices. However, as a moving broker, we facilitated the connection, and you signed a contract agreeing to our terms and conditions. You also signed a separate contract with *************, agreeing to theirs.


    I truly apologize for the delay in getting your belongings delivered and for the overall experience you had. We provided a binding not to exceed contract based on the inventory provided, but when MNS Transport arrived and there were additional items or furniture, this led to the increased cost.


    I understand how frustrating this was for you, and it has deeply impacted us as well. We are still working with authorities on this matter and may need to contact you again in the future.     Basically, they are a scam company that steals from people intentionally. You book with them for one price and they take a down payment and then they hustle you for twice the price right before the move. If you say no or cant afford this sudden price change, they keep the deposit. They have no intention of ever charging you what the original estimate said. In the end, I would have been scammed out of thousands of dollars if I hadn't walked away. They stole $850 from me and left me without movers 48 hours away from an out of state move. They've stolen far more from others. This is a cover business for financial fraud, and they prey on military families. As soon as they get money out of you, they block your number and the next person you'll hear from is basically a mob boss, demanding $500 in the next 8 hours or they'll keep your deposit, plus they want double the original estimate. It's f****** crazy. I am working with a lawyer to sue if I need to for small claims court, but it seems they have many many complaints about the same thing on here.

    RUN! Do not use these guys they are total crooks!Similar to other reviews left here they pulled their M.O. I provided their agents a complete and accurate inventory list including measurements of each item down to the inch. I was assured that my binding quote would not change unless my inventory count changed after talking to their agent on the phone for 2 hours. One week before my moving date I was send a quote with a markup up of over 90% of the originally agreed upon and signed binding quote price. Their only explanation is that their software did not account for the actual cubic feet even though I provided them with ALL the measurements. Absolute bait and switch SHIFTY company.They tried to offer me $1000 off because I called them out on their predatory and unacceptable behavior. However, I don't trust this company at all in the slightest and refused. I was left scrambling for another moving company with only a few days left before my move and a lot of money invested.I've requested a charge back from my bank on the full deposit amount, as United American Moving and Storage has refused to refund my deposit amount.I was really looking forward to supporting a veteran owned business as I am in a military family myself. This company completely lacks integrity.

    After clicking on a ******** link about moving services I received a call. The person on the line requested an estimate of the number of boxes I would be moving. He gave me a verbal estimate and stated that in order to proceed he would provide an email link for me to click on and sign. I want to be clear that I was not informed that I was signing a contract. I was then asked to charge the amount on my credit card, which I did. The next day I received an email from a different person requesting I provide a detailed listing of the items being moved which I did. Subsequently, I received an email stating that the price for moving was just shy of $5,000.00. I emailed back that this was too much. At that time I was informed that I had signed a contract and that dispite requesting a refund none would be provided. Within 48 to 72 hours of my initial engagement with the salesperson, I emailed **** and told her I was canceling the agreement. They have refused to provide a refund citing the signed contract. I want to be clear that I never understood that I was signing a contract. The salesperson stated they had a moving van providing a drop-off within 40 miles of our home so my cancellation did not cause them any loss. I also wish to point out that I canceled this service within 72 hours. After all this, I went on the BBB website and there are numerous complaints of the exact nature of mine.I have all the email correspondence between us if you would like that.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I find it very troubling that you are not actually responding to or honoring what your service *** told me and also hiding behind what your contract says OPPOSED to what I was told.  Regardless of your "72 hour cancel policy" and what I signed...This policy was NEVER mentioned to me before I signed your contract.  I was scammed and tricked into signing this.  Before I signed, I asked your *** what the policy was and he told me something different: "IF FOR ANY REASON CUSTOMER DOES NOT END UP MAKING THE MOVE IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS WE WILL REFUND DEPSOT - 10% FOR MERCHANTS FEE"  I would NEVER have signed your contract had I been told of a 72 hour cancel policy.  But maybe that is what you do to get money out of people.  Your *** told me and added to my estimate (C-upload).  He had every opportunity to tell me of that policy and go over it. HE DID NO SUCH THING!!  I find it peculiar and a very sneaky business practice to get money out of consumers.  Had this been FULLY DISCLOSED and I still signed, then we would not be in this situation.  As a business, you should stand by what you tell your consumers.

    ling me that based on my contract the deposit is nonrefundable after 72 hours. First of all, NO ONE mentioned a 72 hour policy. I would not have signed anything with a 72 hour policy. This company pulled the bait and switch - I thought I was signing the estimate that the serv *** went over with me stating I could cancel and be refunded 90% - No time limit was mentioned. I tried to dispute with my bank, however, was not credited. After a month, UA Moving &Storage LLC provided a signed document stating a 72 hour cancel policy. A document I never saw nor would have signed it, if I knew about 72 hour cancel policy. This company flat out lied and scammed me for that money.

    Please understand that when you signed up, no moving carrier was assigned or scheduled for your move. Once you provided the official move date, we assigned a moving carrier and successfully brokered your moving file. However, after this, you decided not to proceed with the move. As per the contract you signed with United American Moving and Storage, your deposit is non-refundable. Additionally, please refer to the authorization form that was signed and agreed upon. Once the carrier was assigned our services were considered rendered per the contract.
