      In March of 2024 I spoke with the Owner of Camper Rental Adventures, **** ********* who over the phone sold me an RV rental for $1,550.91 for January of 2025. **** reassured me that I would have a camper when we arrive in January for my children's Christmas present. Then in September 2024, **** advised me via text message that she no longer has campers and would not be returning my money.

      I made reservations and payments of $700.00 to the camper rental adventures for an upcoming ****** park resort reservation for a family vacation December 2024 and the company is out of business and I have not received a refund of my money

      In planning our vacation to ****** this fall, we decided to rent a camper through Camper Rental Adventures. We specifically chose this company because they had advertised, at the time, for delivery and set-up of a camper at ***********************************, which was included as part of the rental. We completed the booking on January 31st, 2024, completely paying for the rental up front. I made some changes to our reservation around April 2. On May 1, 2024, ****** released an update to their policy, sharing that only "approved vendors" would now be allowed to deliver campers to the campground. On May 3, Camper Rental Adventures emailed us to acknowledge the new policy. They expressed that we could either pick-it up from their site and tow it ourselves or receive a credit, but a cancellation and refund was not an option they were giving, even though they were no longer following through with the drop-off option included in the original package. In this e-mail they mentioned trying to become an approved vendor, so we wanted to wait and see if they were able to attain this status.June 10 they emailed another update. In this they outlined other options, none which included delivery to the Campground. We were privileged to have a family member there with a truck and willing to meet the company at the gate to tow in the Camper to our site I had gotten approval through ****** **************** After receiving approval, I emailed *** on June 10 and received no response. Then again, on August 28, again with no response. To note - we did not want to pick-up from the company as there was no insurance or coverage provided for transporting the camper from their company site to the Campground and back.I emailed them several times to forward the contract that we never recieved, and no response was given with no attached contract. *** was also in a lawsuit with ******. It came out they knew about the changes in mid-January before we booked and still booked us.

      This feels like such a saga, and I spent so much energy on trying to get a refund or compensation, that it's taken a couple months to get to the point of filing a complaint. I would tell anyone looking at this company, to just walk away and choose another company. I wish I would have done even more research, prior to choosing them. Beware.****** isn't cheap, and neither is this camper rental. You're paying nightly prices of what you could get for a nice ************ on property. You'd except ************** and the lines are blurred rather quickly when you're at your favorite ****** campground, arguing via text with the owner. Everyone around you is having fun, and you're drained emotionally from dealing with this company. First and foremost, we requested close to a full refund and DID receive $200, nowhere near what it cost us to rent a dump for a week. Secondly, the owner's daughter tries, is polite, and the only employee that seems to have a shred of customer service.We were advised to call when we had our site #, that was at 930 am. When we were told 2 hrs for setup, we waited 6 hrs, killing time at local places. Upon arrival to the campground, the camper was not yet set up and we were told to wait a half hr.There was seriously so much wrong and bad, it feels like a dream still. We are regular campers and know things about setting up a rig. The awning was broken and didn't work. The camper was so unlevel we walked uphill. We were warned that "she has some funny plumbing so let us know if it gets backed up." The slide out room was missing cabinetry for storage, visible where it was removed. Kitchen was missing cabinet doors. We had to buy air mattresses for family members to use. It was so dirty, stained, smelly. It felt as if someone lived there and quickly moved out so we could stay there for the week. We booked a 6 seater golf cart as there were 5 of us and were told it was broken so we only had a 4 seater- that's the difference they refunded us.

      On 4/28 I booked an rv with camper rental adventures and paid in full. Not even a week later we received notice that CRA will not be allowed on ****** property and CRA knew of this since January yet, still booked people. Ruining my vacation plans and having to spend triple and CRA only wanted to give a credit, which Ill never use! Their policy is a credit if I cancel. But our rental agreement states that CRA would deliver to fort wilderness but, Cra is not allowed in ****** properties. This has nothing to do with me canceling but CRA stealing money from innocent people attempting to take a vacation.

      I have attached proof of communication with ******* receipts from September 2023 and booking for December 2024. Upon news of this ordeal, I immediately reached out regarding what could be done to our future booking which is attached as well. 24 hours later a mass email to 800 people was sent out regarding the news of *************** no longer on ******s list of Rentals. Owners have scammed families and refuse to reply after giving a brief refund policy when no one cancelled on their own behalf. ****** expressed that disputes could be handled if they arent refunding but like myself, some people paid in full with checking accounts months in advanced. I have disputed and failed twice. My family can no longer enjoy a ****** vacation and my family is without hard earned money that was saved for a magical experience. ****** has been cancelled completely and I am unsure if I will ever book again after this traumatic experience but my wish is that someone can fight for myself, my children and the other families to receive our money especially after we didnt gain any service or experience from Camp Rental or ****** due to this.

      Camper Rental Adventures promised delivery, setup and pickup of camper specifically to Ft. ********************* in ************, **. I paid in-full (according to terms of the special-photo attached) on a special that she advertised for a camper and golf cart rental, again special specified "Ft Wilderness Only." Booked and Paid in full April 21st. May 1st ****** sent out email only approved vendors could do business on their property and she was NOT listed as one of the 4. Additionally, no outside rented golf carts may be brought on property. She was also aware this was coming before she took my reservation which is why she was pushing these specials. I paid $918.12 and she is refusing a refund. She is also still taking reservations and not answering emails or calls.

      On February 28 2024 Camper Rental Adventures ran an add on their ******** page advertising a special discount camper rate and free golf cart rental for ******** ************************** ONLY if you booked and paid in full. So on February 28 2024 I booked my camper golf cart package and paid in full the amount of ******. At that time ****** has informed me that **** the owner very well knew that as of June 1 2024 she would no longer be allowed to conduct any kind of business on their property! But to this date 5-30-2024 she is STILL advertising and taking payments on a service she absolutely can not provide! She is refusing refunds to people and sending out emails that it is actually the **** ************** that will issue us refunds!

      In October of 2023 I booked a camper through CRA for December of 2024. On May 1st ****** put out a statement that CRA would no longer be able to deliver to ********************** and Campground. They stated that CRA was notified in March of 2024 for this change. I requested a refund for the trailer since it would no longer be able to be provided. I have received no communication from the company other than that they contacted ****** and ****** would be the ones providing the refund.

      I paid to rent a camper through Camper Rental Adventures for June 7-15 2024, and again in October. CRA is no longer allowed to come on to ********************************* to deliver a trailer and pick it up when we are done. Only the vendors listed may service ***************. I have pages of proof they cannot deliver there. I have been refused my refund.
