    We entered into a transaction with this design company to create building plans for a home renovation we were working on. We paid them an initial deposit of $1,200 and then during our design process they went dark on us on multiple occasions, and towards the end of the project kept delaying the engineering deliverables. They were lying to us telling us we had an engineer working on it for weeks and weeks it turns out they later on a conference call that the engineer had gone dark on them. They were not able to deliver on a final product and then when they sent an invoice and I asked for a breakdown for what I was being charged for they went dark again. I just received a threat from them saying they will take out a lien on our property now which Id like to dispute. Id also like this complaint to be public so no one else gets taken advantage of by them. Im fine if they keep the deposit but would not like to be charged for the remaining ~$4,500 that they are seeking from us. Weve incurred a lot of additional costs on our end (paying for storage units etc) that came up due to the delays on their end.
