DOS 01/09/23. Ebanezers tire shop. I called the business and got a quote for 6 new tires mounted and balanced. I parked on the other side of the property because their parking area was full. The owner offered to move my vehicle after I confirmed price and work. I didn't see a problem with him bringing the truck around as all automotive businesses move your vehicle at some point. We agreed on 950 for all six tires installed mounted and balanced, and an additional 80$ to put the old tires on another truck we have. I saw him walking back twords where my boys and I were sitting and I remembered a toggle switch need to be on to start the vehicle. So the boys and I met him halfway over to the truck and I had the boys stand in a grassy area while I showed him the switch. My boys and I walked over to where we were sitting and then I saw him back into the electrical box near the street. I could also hear it. When he go out of my truck I waited for him to tell me what happened and when he did not, I proceeded to ask him what was the noice and what did he hit. He denied hitting anything and hearing anything. When I started to walk around my truck I saw the damage to the rear fender flare, cracked dented and all scratched up. He immediately started trying to clean it off and I asked him not to touch it any further until I could take a picture and call to make a report. He proceeded to try and clean it up. I want the damages repaired fully. When the officers arrived they explained it would go under my insurance and raise my premium and he told them he would buff it out but cracks and chips in fiberglass so not buff out. I want him to repair my vehicle or to pay to have it repaired, but I want it done by a professional. He is a tire shop and therefore does not do paint and body work.
