      When I got home yesterday afternoon, i had finally received the refund check in the mail from Direct Auto Protection. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. Although I received the refund, I still maintain that this company's customer service department is severely lacking. They were rude and dismissive, and not at all helpful.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The response doesn't make any sense.  I have the two warranty books in front of me, and they list Direct Auto Protection as the issuing agency.  I have also called the listed number for the *********************** on eight occasions, and they had complete access to my accounts because they responded that refunds were being processed.

      **** ******second call (06/14/2023), I was informed that it could take 8-12 weeks, since the company was going through some financial malfeasance issues. Subsequent calls were made on 08/01/2023, 08/28/2023, 11/15/2023, 03/01/2024, 08/21/2024, and 12/17/2024 - each time, I was told that my refund request was being expedited and I would receive a return phone call from a supervisor within two days; no return phone calls were ever received. Each time I asked to speak to a supervisor and was informed that it was not *********** only excuse for delay in contacting the BBB earlier is that I believed that Direct Auto Protection would meet their obligations as they indicated to me.

      Starting in November 2023, my mother was tricked into entering into an agreement for an extended auto warranty. She was billed $179 a month for this service and didn't realize what she was paying for until I saw it on her credit card statement. This resulted in her paying over $1600 for a warranty she didn't need, didn't understand and hasn't used. If the Better Business Bureau could please help by facilitating contact with the company. The company doesn't provide a phone number as contact information on credit card statements (and the domain of the e-mail address that is provided is incomplete) so I cannot contact him/them directly. The contact name listed though is *******************, who is also listed as the president of the company. I reached out to **************** and they have now blocked all future billing from this company. I'm including my contact information along with my mother's name as I don't want this company to contact her EVER again. I do want to be contacted to confirm that Ensurety Finance will cease all contact with my mother. If she allowed for an on-going contract, that ends now with no money owed by her, She has legal representation and we will use it.

      On Jun 25, 2024 I received a call from a company that represented itself as ******* Telling me that my warranty expired today and if I want to extend it that I must do so today or miss any chance to do so. The "Agent" I spoke to was *************************. The number they called from was **************. I was given a deal for and extended warranty for $169 a month for 24 months. After calling the actual ****************** and the dealer who I purchased the vehicle from I found out my warranty was not expired. I called the company back at this number and was told that they would email out documents to cancel later this week. They told me that the name of the company was "Direct Dealer Plan" and "Direct Vehicle Protection." They are very convincing as he provided my VIN and my address to me. Not sure how they got that information.

      We were contacted by a representative concerning our car expired car warranty. The caller ID said ******************* They sold us a 5 year extended warranty for $159 monthly for 24 months. We have tried to contact them to several times to file a claim and all the numbers either are 3rd party vendors or are disconnected.

      In early Mar, Direct Auto Protection LLC contacted me via phone and presented themselves as being representatives of ******* They presented an offer to extend my vehicle warranty for $179.00 per year over a prorated number of years. In return for the $179.00 they were to send me a copy of the warranty. Days went by without a word from them and no warranty. On 30 Mar $179 cleared my bank, and still no warranty. Investigation shows they are not associated with ****** in any form. I feel this whole transaction is fraudulent and I seek a return of the amount I paid for a warranty I never received.

      Called by *********************. He lied and stated that my vehicle warranty was up and that he worked with the car company. I called to immediately cancel and was told I'd receive an email that never came. Called back and spoke with ********************* who sent me a form to fill out and mail back to their address in ***********, **. Seems they do this to attempt to charge me even more money, as I never signed anything before this. So I'm not signing it and reporting them here.

      I was contacted by phone saying that my warranty had expired on my car. They also reasurred me a number of times that they were affiliated with my dealership. I was very adamant that I didn't want to deal with a 3rd party vender, which they assurred me they were not. I bought the extended warranty, later that night after work I looked them a little more. I found that they were a 3rd party vender and not a good one. Early the next morning I called my dealership to ask questions. My car dealer said they had never heard of the company or the warranty they were selling. I immediately call the warranty company back. It has now not even 24 hours. The young lady that answered the phone could not find my policy number (177256565-7040) because it had been less than a day and *********** had not put the information in. She stated that I would have to speak with him. Hours later ************************* called me back, he stated that all my information was in the computer and there was no posible way to cancel it. I mentioned the *** rule of 3 days, to which he stated that he would have to send me a form which I had to sign and return within 30 days. I have received nothing from this company.

      Called from ************** at 09:29am on 19Jan24 regarding an extended warranty on my ********** vehicle. Extended warranty offer was $179/** for 24 months. Was told that I would receive an email copy of my policy for review while waiting on the paper copy. There is no email, nothing in spam. Website is defunct (redirects to godaddy), phone number on record with **************** is disconnected. Phone number called from does not accept additional voicemail messages. This charge has been contested with ****************, can take 12 - 16 weeks to process.
