    Business Response

    Date: 11/26/2022

    Dear ************************:

You have not graduated from Agape Academy because you have not completed the required coursework. On August 6, 2021, at 11:19 AM, you received a certified letter and the printout of your grades and missing assignments. Also, we emailed you a list in September 2021 of the courses you needed to complete in order to graduate. You were never required to retake all of your classes. You were required to retake classes that you failed or to take classes that you never attempted. You provided a picture of that email in your complaint. Interestingly, you cut off the requirement to complete NU3080. The last class you need to take before you can sit for the **** Exit Exam. I have attached the complete email here.

When you brought up the issue of graduation earlier this year, my staff clearly explained on July 7, 2022, that you failed to complete NU3080. It is a required course and cannot be simply skipped over. My staff also explained that all you had to do was sit for your final exams for NU3080. We had scheduled an exam on April 7, 2022, but you cancelled. You were last scheduled to take your NU3080 exams on September 2, 2022. However, you cancelled because you said that you had to be out of town for work. You stated that you would get in touch with us to reschedule. We had not heard from you until we received this complaint. Finally, once you pass NU3080, you can sit for the **** Exit exam. If you receive a passing grade of 80% or higher, you will graduate. We are not preventing you from taking your exams and graduating. All you have to do is contact the school to schedule your exams.

Below are our responses regarding some of the miscellaneous issues in your complaint:

None of your grades or underlying academic records were deleted. Only active students currently enrolled have access to our NEOLMS platform. Since youre not taking any classes or scheduled any exams, your access was turned off. If you want an official transcript with your grades, all you must do is request it. ****, like every other state, requires NCLEX passage to be an RN. You might be referring to the limited period when **** made exceptions during the pandemic to assist with the nursing shortage. A ******** post does not confer a diploma to anyone. The post you refer to, simply congratulated recent graduates and professors, and had a group photo of some current students at that time. WIOA Training Scholarships are managed by the state and county. Agape has no control over them. There is nothing for Agape to provide to you regarding a state-run program. UWorld questions are a graduation requirement.  However, completion of them, does not negate the requirement to pass all your courses.

********, while I can understand your frustration being so close to graduation, you need to understand that it is entirely in your hands. All you have to do is pass your final exams and exit exam. Please contact as soon as possible to schedule them. Until then, there is nothing we can do.

    Sincerely,
    *********************************************

I am rejecting this response because:  On the attached requirements for graduation on your email of September 23, 2021, it lists the course NU3030 NCLEX RN Review, listed on the top of the second page, to this date this class has never been opened and available for me to begin and complete.   The seven proctored exam is not listed in writing as a graduation requirement. Also, you wanted me to take a 7 proctored test, without having any studying material for these tests.   I have not been able to move forward because, the final course has been unavailable for me to take.  After completing the NU3030 course, the only final requirement is to take the exit HESI exam.  The 7 proctored tests are not a graduation requirement, per your registration documents.

    Sincerely,

    Dear ************************,

As we explained in July, the 7 proctored exams are the exams administered in NU3080. You must pass those exams in order to pass NU3080.

You now claim that you were never allowed to take NU3080.However, in July you claimed that you took the course 3 times. Our records confirm that you attempted NU3080 three times, but never passed.

As we have stated numerous times, you must pass NU3080 by passing the 7 proctored exams. To do that all you need to do is contact the school to schedule a time to take the exams. Once you pass this course you will be allowed to sit for the Exit Exam.

    Sincerely,
    **********************************************

I am rejecting this response because:  The course NU **** was completed with ****************** in the classroom and online. But unlike other universities that you can login anytime and see your grades and transcripts for all classes completed, even 10 years after graduation.  Agape ************** does not do the same.  Agape does not keep a permanent record or provide transcripts for all class completed.  They have the ability to delete any class and show that the class was never taken or like what happened to me delete my entire set of nursing classes.

*******************, I  completed the course NU **** with you.  You were the professor teaching that class in person at your ********** Campus.  When I completed the NU**** course, there was not a 7 exams proctored to complete the course.   I am still in contact with prior students, that do not remember taking a 7 exams proctored to complete the course.

Once you deleted my entire set of nursing classes, which is included from the Nolems email attached, showing there is NO RECORD of me or any course completed.

Then I was forced to retake every single course again.  Now I have completed the courses.  You will not open the NU**** to complete it again. But you want me to take a 7 exam proctored on material that you will not allow me to refresh my memory to know what is on the exam.  Why won't you open th NU**** again?  So I can complete it.  No one, NO ONE is expected to take 7 exams without any material to study for the exam.  How can I take an exam without having proper knowledge of what is to be expected of me on the exams?

Also, the documents that I signed, explicitly said the only test required to complete the nursing program after completing all of the courses was the Exit HESI.

    Sincerely,

    *************************************
