After a 26 month build (14 months longer than originally communicated), I closed and took possession of the new home November 2023. After 11 months my home warranty submissions have still not been completed. For example, my built in $15K refrigerator has been sitting in my living room for more than 30 days because the ******************* isn't able to schedule the final cabinet repairs. Also, ten solid core wood doors and jams have been sitting beside the refrigerator for almost two weeks for the same reason. More than 300 warranty items have been submitted and the majority have not been addressed. There are more than 300 items because of how I was instructed to submit the items by the *******************. The ******************* staff has turned over a lot and no more resources have been assigned to finish the home. My repeated escalations to the regional on-site executive that oversee the ******************* has done very little. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

We are familiar with Mr.Rabensteins complaint and have attempted to resolve these issues multiple times. We have been prevented from resolving the issues due to Mr. ********** not allowing our team to schedule the final repairs. All items have been completed to building standards with the exception of drywall & paint touch-up.We are prepared to complete those items if Mr. ********** will allow us to do so.

I am rejecting this response because no one at Kolter has the decency to respond to my BBB complaint. I didnt want to but I may have to exercise the purchase and sales agreement arbitration paragraph.

    Sincerely,

Respectfully,we disagree with Mr. *********** most recent comment. Kolter Homes responded to his BBB complaint and specifically stated we are prepared to complete the outstanding warrantable repairs. It is our position that we have addressed all other items he has raised through the Kolter Homes warranty portal that warrant repair. We understand ************* still has outstanding complaints regarding certain repairs that we have completed (e.g., flooring, cabinet, countertop), but those items have been addressed by our team and the repairs meet required building standards and are within appropriate tolerances. We consider this matter closed and will be scheduling remaining warrantable repairs with Mr. ********** in January of 2025. If any new warranty issues are raised, they will be addressed through our normal warranty protocol.

We moved into ***************** in January 2019 (original owners). There was ceramic tile flooring throughout. Shortly after moving in we had vinyl plank put down over the tile without any disruption to the original tile whatsoever. This past December, 2022, we noticed an elevation in the in the vinyl in the hallway near the front door. We immediately called building management ************** Residential). They checked for water with their water detection machine, and there was none. We were finally able to get all the people we needed for the unveiling of the ceramic flooring in March of this year. Our floor guy cut the vinyl plank section out of the affected area which revealed the elevation of three tiles underneath. After the defect was revealed, the floor guy sent by the building noted he felt the ceramic floor had been installed improperly without proper expansion joints and possibly improperly installed moisture and/or sound barriers. We would like our floor fixed and also want to know if there is a defect in this spot, do we need to have the entire ceramic floor replaced so this does not continue to happen? Thank you in advance for your help.

New construction home purchase 10/13/22 in ******************** community, ********, **. Since closing, numerous warranty claims for defective construction issues, including leaking windows, have been filed. Builder attempted repair to windows but hired incompetent sub who in attempting to repair, made problem with windows worse by creating huge gaps between window and exterior siding. Windows still leaking with black mold and water damage on interior trim. Builder has refused to fix even though home is still under warranty.
