I've been using Expert Car Care in ************* for years. Not only for my Business Vehicles but also my personal Vehicles. I recommend them to any one I know. They are honest and get the repairs done in a timely manor. All the employees are friendly and accommodating. It is very hard these days to find an honest and reliable repair shop and so glad I found one.

On December 14th, 2023, I took my 2011 *** x6 to Expert Car Care 3 to check on a rattling sound coming from the suspension. my vehicle had no warning lights on and I took my vehicle driving my car has never had any major issues in the past 5 years since I purchased, I left vehicle at shop for the diagnostic, I receive a call a day later on Dec 15th to come to the office because apparently the mechanic took my vehicle for a test drive to locate the sound, and supposedly mechanic shop had to tow my vehicle because per shop it turned off on the road. We went back the mechanic did a diagnostic on my vehicle and per his diagnostic only issue showing was the starter, the diagnostic showed no other codes related to electrical or mechanical issues, my husband hesitated and told mechanic that he did not think noise was caused by starter, the mechanic said he was sure that the starter was curing the rattling noise, he offered to change it and if that did not fix issue he would not charge, I called twice before Dec 22nd and was told vehicle was still being worked. Monday Dec 18th, I called for update, and was told vehicle was being worked on. Dec 22nd approximately 9 days I called for an update and was told they changed starter but that the vehicle engine died that i needed it to pick up, hence my vehicle had been driving with rattling noise for over a year a half, no mechanical or electrical issues no codes indicating vehicle failure. I took my vehicle to Expert Car Care 3, for a simple suspension sound, and they want to give me my car with a damaged engine, and per their own diagnostic my car had no electric nor mechanical issues. My vehicle was running perfectly fine, no issues at all prior to taking to that shop. They told me that spark plugs being dirty and old caused my vehicle to have a failed engine. They dont want to take responsibility only thing they want is for me to pay them for a new engine or take back my vehicle .
