      12-April-24, Owners engaged Imperial ****************** (Imperial) to install FloraTam sod in northern and western sections of Owners property. Total cost: $15,300.00. required down-payment: $7650.00. Project scope included: poisoning existing lawn, scraping lawn, spreading base soil, sod placement, with a 30-day warranty.9/10 May 2024, sod was delivered. Imperial placed sod May 10 with no base soil., Before installation was completed, Contractor required balance of $7650.00 to be paid in a check made to Contractor personally. Simultaneously, Owners asked Contractor to expanding sod in the southern property, Contractor quoted $4000.00 and required $2000.00 down-payment in a check made to Contractor personally.The contractor noted unsatisfactory sod and open sod gaps and advised Owners that Imperial would replace unsatisfactory sod, sod gaps and honor the 30-day warranty.Before job completion, Contractor and left the site and cashed the final $7650 and $2000 down-payment checks. Imperial workers continued. The sod installation was left with dead sod and sod gaps.Owners sought to resolve the faulty installation and recoup the $2000 down-payment. The owner made phone calls, sent messages, and emailed Contractor. Contractor remediation actions Through 7 July 2024, Contractor demonstrated no action to replace dead sod or to fill sod gaps. Contractor stated that Imperial would not complete the south sod installation but would return $2000. Imperial left the poisoned south area unfinished.,Dispute Contractor performed unsatisfactory sod installation Contractor failed to fulfill warranty to rectify installation issues Contractor abandoned south sod installation with promise to return $2000 down-payment, but failed to return $2000 Remedy Requested Contractor to return the south installation $2000 down-payment to Owners Contractor reimburse Owners expense to rectify north and west sod installation issues

      On December 5th I paid a deposit of $1485.00 (50%) for deliver and installation of SOD, mulch and 8 bushes. After multiple attempts to have the services completed and failure to do so on January 4th I requested a refund of my deposit. I was told it would go in the mail on the following Monday. This would have been January 8th. Its now been almost 2 weeks and I have yet to receive the refund. I've attempted 3x to contact and confirm it was indeed placed in the mail and have yet to receive a reply.
