I have one of their cooking pots in black. It was only used a few times and was never cleaned in a dishwasher and I never used any harsh abrasives when cleaning it. I noticed the paint was peeling after I finished cooking in it. I scraped the inside of the pot with my finger and layers of the black coating were coming off. This is unsafe, which means we have eaten some of it. I dont know what this coating is or if its even toxic. I contacted the company and sent pictures so they could see what I was talking about. Their response to me was that my 90-day warranty expired and was out of luck in finding a resolution. I was never told what that coating was and if it was even toxic. they obviously do not stand behind their product. I should have been told what that coating was made of.Imusa Usa, LLC

As mentioned on our email communication, our cookware undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it meets strict food-contact safety standards, including those set by the ***. The coating on our cookware is designed to be safe for food contact, but like all cookware, it can experience natural wear and tear over time due to factors such as prolonged use, high heat exposure, and cleaning methods.
Regarding your request for a replacement, our warranty provides a 90-day window for reporting any material or workmanship defects. We understand your frustration, but since the pot was purchased a long time ago and there is no proof of purchase, we are unable to offer a replacement under our warranty policy. Our warranty guidelines are applied consistently to ensure fairness to all customers.
We regret that you are dissatisfied with this outcome, and we truly appreciate your feedback. I love the IMUSA brand, as my family do too, Growing in my country ******** , the brand IMUSA and their products was part of every cooking process in our kitchen and home, beginning with my grandma ***** who pass that legacy to my mom and today to all our family including my own family and i will transfer that legacy to my kids and friends as part of our love and commitment for our country and our ******************** which we are so proud of it in ***. IMUSA offers affordable and practical cookware, especially great for traditional Latin American dishes. Their products are generally durable and user-friendly. I got the IMUSA Espresso machine back in October 29th through Amazon Prime. I want something small and easy to use for my work space. I was really happy with my purchase and I was making my espresso every day. However, around Christmas time the cup adapter tip fell off (broke) so I decided to call the company in ***** *******. No answered so I sent an email no answer. I called them back on January 03rd after 25 minutes of waiting and a lady finally answered. I explained to her the situation and she started to question me how and why the cup adjuster broke. She said it could not be possible because metal cant break I replied to her that I got pictures and mentioned as well that I sent an email but never got an answer. She responded rudely we were closed because the holidays like everyone else well no really I told her because I was working so no everyone is on holiday break. She told me to send the email again and hang up on me. I dont understand this kind of costumer service!!!! You can read on The box 1 year limited warranty! All their products comes with imperfections and they get damage during or after the factory warranty. In my case 2 items,one of them broke (coffee pot) while I was washing it, this items are so poorly made that it just broke, the other was a caldero lid that by the fourth month didn't close correctly anymore,I don't have no idea how that happen. To anyone seeing this comment please save your money and time and buy another quality brand.Imusa Usa, LLC
