    On 2/6 ********** went to Sew Yours to return an item & to purchase ***************** for the new handbag ****** is going to make. We have been to the store several times and have had good interaction with the staff. ****** returned the item, fabric was chosen & cut and she picked out the hardware with the assistance of a staff member. There were no issues with our interaction with any of the staff. On 2/7 ****** responded to an e-mail inviting her to attend an event at the Sew Yours store from 2to4 pm on 2/8. She accepted & was excited to be meeting others with sewing skills. On the morning of 2/8, she received a call from ****** ********* who is one of the owners of the store who advised that she was no longer welcome in the store. When she asked why he was not really forthcoming with a satisfactory response. Please note that we have never seen Mr. ********* in the store on our several visits. ****** called the store to get an explanation, but discovered that our landline phone had been blocked. She did call back on her mobile & did get to speak with an individual who was unwilling to identify herself & then promptly hung up. Naturally, ****** is quite upset with this turn of events which also reflects on myself as her spouse. We have had no problems with the staff on any of our prior visits & need a detailed explanation as to the reasoning behind this unreasonable action. We have had experience with the other owner, ******* *********, & other staff members, ******, *************** with no indication of any problems. We feel the ************* management is acting irresponsibly by not providing an explicit reason for their actions. We will appreciate your assistance in this important matter as we did nothing wrong.

    I am rejecting this response because:  What in particular of applicable law is the business citing?  According to the law, we did not do anything that gave them the right to refuse service.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  It makes no sense to engage further as the company has not been forthcoming as to the exact reasoning behind their actions.  As consumers, my wife and I have an excellent reputation and never have been banned from any retail establishment.  It is a shame that a store can stand behind some vague reasoning with no accountability.
