I purchased a boat from this place they first told me the boat was in Florida then talked to my wife got 2k down payment then the boat was still being built in GA. So then we waited they said 8 to 10 days then it didn't come. So it finally comes and they called and said you can come Friday to get it. We drive two hours to get this boat it had no t-top on it like they said it would. So I asked for my money back they said no they his is what will do will pick it up and bring it install it later and then return it I said I'm not sure about that they said it'll take two days tops well I had it over a month and called every week nothing and now they got it after I said I would get a lawyer and now they've had my boat almost a MONTH something's always wrong so I got mad told them to bring it back today! July 28 2022 they said they had to build a new one so I got to wait longer now. They are suppose to repeat all this when it arrives. I'm so frustrated that they've promised all this stuff and it's been more of a head ache to me and my family! This is ridiculous they prolly do it to other people as well. And that's just not right I shouldn't be dealing with this! I either want it fixed or replaced with a boat with a hard t-top on the lot or just give me my money back I'll buy from someone else! But they should have never promised anything and then not keep there word! This was all back by Father's Day this year. I'm just fed up with all the excuses I'm over it all. Hopefully reaching out to BBB will help I'm not sure .Business Response

date of transaction: 5/28 and didnt pickup until 6/18 due to the company trying to get paid first for the boat before we could pick it up. paperwork signed 3 times for some reason and paid $80 to have the paperwork overnighted was offered reimbursement did not receive. Paid $12,500.00 discount given $1500.00 we also put 2500.00 down. they stated the boat was "detailed" and we were charged about $900.00 when we asked about "detailed' we were told the boat oil was changed and the engine was serviced and tuned up and the boat was cleaned but none of that was done to our observation. Patrick also promised a radio which we never received. There was no anchor. We took the boat out for the first time and it died in the middle of the river. We finally got it started but it was hesitant and stalling. We have worked on the boat every weekend because the company would not return our calls. When they did finally call us back they said the boat was bought "AS IS". So we financed a boat with no running motor basically. A $12,000.00 canoe basically!!! Very bad business to sell a non working engine!! We have additionally replaced the following items out of our pockets: plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel line. I am not sure how this is legal in any sense but we went with a dealer so we didnt get screwed and we totally got screwed. We are not rich and cannot afford to make payments on a lemon. How does someone put a 12k price on a boat that doesn't run every time you take it out??? Ever trip out on the water is stressful because the boat stalls, dies and hesitates. Being stranded is not ok especially in the Florida WatersBusiness Response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/08/15) */ It was certainly not our intent to sell a boat to Mr. and Mrs. ******** where they experienced some issue early in it's use. While it is a 24 year old boat, clearly sold as-is, and demonstrated proper operation to customer on delivery, we would like to try to help, in the interest of Good Will. Although there was no promise in the paperwork, we will take the customer at their word and provide both the reimbursement for the overnight and an additional $200 contribution to a new radio. An anchor is not an item included, unless requested, identified, and accounted for. I have attached the referenced paperwork showing an As-Is sale. Again, we are very sorry that the experience did not meet their expectation. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/08/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Again a 24 year old boat shouldn't be priced at $12,000. The company made sure our deposit and loan went through and they got paid before letting us pickup. During pickup the boat was tested on pond. Wouldn't start and stalled but workers insisted it was gone through completely hence the $890 prep fee. We took it out later that day and it died in the middle of St Johns River!! So we are making payments on a boat with an engine that doesn't work. We don't need a radio and could care less about the accessories we bought. It's about our safety now!! This is really horrible how we were taken advantage of and sold a non working boat for $12k!!! We just wanted to take our family for boat rides and we can't do that because we don't know if we will be stranded or if the engine is going to blow up Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/08/19) */ Again, we are sorry this did not meet the customers expectation. A standard course of dealership business is for the boat to be paid in full, prior to delivery. While this boat was clearly sold as is, and the selling price reflected that, I would like to offer several options. We would be willing to offer $500 towards any repairs the customer may want to make, or they could bring the boat in for us to evaluate the issue, or we would allow a credit towards another product, if it made sense to all parties. Any of these options are offered in good faith, if it would resolve the issue. Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2022/08/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Please explain credit towards another product are you saying? Are you offering us credit to buy something at your warehouse? If that's what you're saying that makes absolutely no sense. Please elaborate. Bringing the boat down to you is not an option at this time as you are about an hour and 45 minutes away from us. If you are willing to take the boat and trade for another boat on your lot we may consider that trip. (An Even value trade) I'm sorry but this has been the worst experience of our lives. We went from being so excited to having a boat to being so absolutely angry for paying on a loan for a boat that we cannot use. Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2022/09/06) */ We would again like to present the three options for possible resolution. Yes, the trade in credit would be for another boat, and we would encourage you to move up in years for the reliability factor. I can put you in touch with our Sales Manager, and you can see if there is anything in our inventory that would be mutually suitable. We would also be willing to either offer $500 towards maintenance or repair, or inspect the boat to evaluate the condition causing the symptom. Please let us know if you choose one of those options. Thank you. Consumer Response /* (2000, 22, 2022/09/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) We do not see any boats that are decent to trade. We were looking to do a pontoon if you have something comparable. If not we will have to accept the $500 Please let us know how to move forward Thank you Consumer Response /* (4200, 27, 2022/09/25) */ Have not received the requested $500 Business Response /* (4000, 38, 2022/10/21) */ Pleased reopen this case and change the category to resolved. The bank has notified us that Mr. & Mrs. ******** cashed our check on 10/17, which they had agreed would fully resolve any outstanding issues.Initial Complaint

I purchased a RV from factory direct on May 9. I was unable to pick up the RV until May 11 which was the day before I had to leave to go across country for work which was clearly stated at the time of purchase. Upon selling me the RV they had not installed the TV that they offered me for free with purchase and they realized they did not have keys for all of the locks. It took them an entire day to install the TV (that in the fine print I was charged for) and they would not re-key the locks because they said they were going to reach out to the previous owners of the RV and have them mailed to them and I had to leave by the 12th for work so I could not argue. As I was packing I then discover the TV is cracked down the middle. I immediately call and the finance manager says just buy one when I get to my destination and they will reimburse me. Keys were mailed to factory direct and the sales person had a random person bring the keys to my home and my wife overnighted them to me to end up finding out they were not the keys to the RV at all. As of today we have not been reimbursed for the mailing of the wrong keys or the TV. The pipes under the bathroom sink had to be repaired (by them) and they broke open and flooded my RV on my trip when it was not hooked up to any outside water source. The GM continuously argues that I did not have the correct pressure regulator connected when it was not hooked up to an outside water source. The black water tank was clogged and I had to fix that at my destination. All of these things show there was no inspection done of this RV that I had to pay extra for. It is also not winterized even though there is a sticker on the door that says there is. I was told they were going to have someone where I am currently located come and inspect it. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've heard from anyone and every day something else breaks.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/21) */ We are sorry that the delivery of the RV did not meet the expectation of Mr. and Mrs. ******. I have attached a picture of the check we will be mailing out today as reimbursement for the key mailing and TV. It looks like there has been some miscommunication and inconvenience, and as a good faith gesture, we would be willing to refund the total prep charge of $895, if it would resolve any outstanding issues to the satisfaction of Mr. and Mrs. ******. While sold as is, we are sincerely sorry again for any part of this experience that has been anything but pleasurable.
