  On 1-08-24 We signed a contract to have our pool resurfaced and add a 18x8 sun shelf to the back of main pool and it spilling into the pool and add 20x35 concrete slab. After pool was completed I had to keep adding water cause there was a leak some where. I had a leak detection come out to find the leak. They said it was the main drain in which I had this leak fixed. It was continuing to leak water so I isolated the main pool and the sun self and the sun shelf leaked all the way down when I was inspecting it I found a large crack on back side by the light where floor meets the wall, the water intrusion leaked under my brand new slab of concrete that the also added is now cracked which he told me would not crack unless I drove a vehicle over it. I also have hairline cracks in my grout on tile around pool which they also installed and my light isnt working in which he said he would have his new electrician look at it. Now Im not loosing water in the main pool, l&r construction added this part onto my pool I reached out to **** the first time around late November early December of 24 on the phone he said yes Ill come fix it resurface entire sun shelf so it doesnt look like a patch, he stated he would fix the concrete, grout and have light looked at. On my contract I have from him it states a 15 year warranty on work they preformed. Now it is almost April and I still can not get him out to fix this. I have given him ample time to come repair this he wont answer my calls anymore he will text me back very short response. He stated that it is his busy season and it would have to be a weekend I said ok. I asked him for dates multiple times and he texted me have another company come fix it if you are in a rush, I said I dont want another company to fix it when I have a warranty through you, he still would not give me a date I also told him I think I have been very patient now it has been 4 months and still nothing on his end. I paid him on time and paid him in full.

  ,I am writing to file a formal complaint against L&R Construction Pool and Concrete, whose president is **** *******, located at *****************************************. I hired this company to resurface my pool, modify the plumbing, and repair the underwater light. The company began work on October 15, 2024, but their actions have caused significant damage, financial loss, and ongoing complications. Additionally, I am concerned about the companys fraudulent practices and its failure to honor agreements.Summary of the Issue:Certificate of Liability Insurance:L&R Construction provided a certificate of liability insurance at the start of the project. However, I later discovered that the policy was not paid and was cancelled long before the expiration date listed on the certificate. This raises significant concerns about the companys credibility and business practices.Damage to Plumbing and Incorrect Replumbing:The contractor caused extensive damage to the original plumbing system, which led to significant leaks. Furthermore, the company improperly replumbed the new equipment and materials, creating additional complications and unnecessary costs.Failure to Honor Repair Agreement:After recognizing the damage caused by their work, **** *******, president of L&R Construction, agreed to cover the cost of necessary repairs. However, despite multiple follow-up communications, he has failed to send the promised payment and has since refused to cover the costs for the repairs.Third-Party Verification by Red Rhino Leak Detector:Due to the ongoing damage, I hired Red Rhino Leak Detector, a third-party plumbing and leak detection company, to assess the situation. Red Rhino has documented all of the errors and damage, including photographs that clearly show the extent of the problems caused by L&R Construction. Their assessment confirmed that significant repairs are still required, and I continue to incur additional costs.
