      I signed up for a motorcycle training course. Unfortunately I suffered an Injury and not sure when I will be able to take the class, if at all. I called way ahead of time to get a refund but I was informed about a hidden refund policy not mentioned anywhere in their website. This now feels like a scam.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/07/15) */ Thank you for this notification, but it is the first that I have received for this matter. I see the timeline but somehow missed those other communications. Mr. ***** called us on the evening of 6/28 for a class scheduled to begin at 8am on 6/30. All of our policy materials state three days notice for a refund, including a specific electronic statement that he accepted as part of the booking process. When he contacted us we explained that and he agreed. We explained that we would still honor his credit for a full year. We also will gladly allow him to transfer his credit to a different student. We feel our policy is more than generous, considering that his late cancellation left us with that class seat empty and wasted. Had this been most other companies he would have lost that payment, without any offer of a future service. Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2022/07/28) */ Sorry I missed the email. The business is abusive because no one ever mentioned the return policy prior or during the sale process. He says it is three days but that was not business days. He counted the weekend and they didn't have classes then. Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2022/08/13) */ As I explained before Mr. ***** has previously agreed that he would have a credit to attend the class and that it could be transferred to a different student. His claim that he was unaware of our cancellation policy is not truthful. When he registered, he accepted the following message which required his approval: "I understand that by accepting this message I am authorizing SafeRide.com, LLC to charge my credit card for the full amount of the tuition for the course for which I have registered. Further, if I fail to attend my scheduled class without providing notice to SafeRide.com, LLC of my intent to reschedule with at least three days of advance notice the full amount of the tuition will be due and I will be allowed to attend a future class as a stand-by status student. No refund will be issued unless requested at least three calendar days before the scheduled start of the class. " No refund is due under any interpretation. He called us barely 48 hours before the class start and agreed on the phone that he understood the policy and accepted it. Consumer Response /* (4200, 21, 2022/08/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The business is lying. I did the reservation through the phone and didn't click anything. Care to check? No one explained to me what the cancellation policy was and I was not allowed to cancel it even though it has not been three business days. I've never seen poor customer service like this before. I would like my money back.
