Is there a zero overall experience? I was asked for my card after I purchased products supposedly to charge my card in the future if I wanted more products. I am concerned about the charges.

Me and my mother tried out this store in downtown **********. Got lured in by someone at the door talking about free skin samples. Got a free under eye treatment, and then was sold these two products that were $300 total (even though she claimed they sold for more). The whole gimmick was something about stem cells maybe? Got an even worse feeling when my mom went to pay. The sales woman claims the charge didnt go through, and she literally takes my mothers card, (while we were actively showing her we were charged on her credit cards app) and she charged the card again! Crazy! Not only that, the woman lied and said they had to account for local taxes which was 3%, and end up tacking on another $30 (which is not 3% of $300). $660 worth of charges to dispute. Did more research on the company and product when I got home and it doesnt look good (which turns out it doesnt even look like they sell it on their website). Best part? No returns allowed. The more info I look into this place the more I think its a pump and dump scheme. Skin care products are widely overpriced. They try sale tactics like well normally this is X number of dollars, but today Im selling it to you for X number of dollars. It seems their prey market is consists of wealthy older ladies. Very disappointing that the city of ********** allows this kind of practice to continue. All in all, do your own research. Sounds like this company does similar practices in other cities, and people discuss them on sites like Reddit. When you check out their site, the product they sell isnt even on there. And when you check the products site, there is nothing proving the positive reviews are real. There is a whole discussion if the products are actually harmful or not. Horrible experience, ruined an awesome day.
