    I purchased an extended automobile warranty through American Vehicle Protection on September 2, 2021. My booklet indicates the contract is with ****** through American Vehicle Protection. I paid monthly through *** via checking account until September of 2023. I need to take my car in for an issue and called ***** **** in ***********, **. I was told by ***** that they would not honor this warranty due to the companies ratings and reviews. This company has had lawsuits for non payment, etc. After checking the internet I discovered that this company has an F rating and has scammed people out of money due to fraudulent practices involving extended automobile warranties. I am elderly and struggled to make sure my payments were made in case I needed this warranty. Now that I need it the ************ will not honor. I have scanned the declaration page of contract as well as front and back of booklet. I will have this warranty until the expiration date of 9/1/26. It is of no value to me as the **** company will not honor. I would like a refund of the money I have paid out. Can you help me?

    I canceled my vehicle warranty in Jan 2023 and was supposed to receive a refund within 12 weeks from that date. As of Jun 2023 I still have not received a refund and the company has not provided me with a date to expect a refund.

    Company robo-calls me several times a week about the warranty coverage on a vehicle I have never owned (2009 ***** Accord). Yesterday they went too far, calling me several times after I called them out for being a scam and rude. I was yelled profanities at (including being called the "n" word), told I was exercising "White priviledge" by thinking I shouldn't be getting these calls, threatened they were going to come kick my a** I have been on a no-call list for years and have never had anything to do with warranty companies.

    Good afternoon,

     In reviewing our calls from 11/14/2022 in the range of 18:10- 18:20, there were no calls made from our company to the contact number listed in your message *********** ). I have included a screen shot of the search for this number resulting in zero calls for your reference. Obviously the behavior described in your message is not indicative to our company's core principles of customer service and diversity. I would also note that we have no personnel here named "******" as well. It is our belief that the call surely came from another warranty provider, other than American Vehicle Protection based off of this information.

    I would note that we have added the contact number provided to our own internal DO NOT CALL list in order to insure that we do not disturb you in the future. We certainly apologize for the adverse experience you had yesterday, I can only imagine how frustrating that must have been. I can further insure you that had it been us we would be immediately holding someone accountable for their actions. These actions should not be tolerated by any company, consumer, or society as a whole. 

    If the phone call came to another phone number please advise and we will investigate further.
