On November 8, 2022, our female Miniature Pincher puppy (then 4.5 months old) was placed in ********* Silvers 2 week dog training bootcamp provided by his company Silver Dog Training LLC and conducted at the Dogtopia of *************** - Northeast facility. We paid Silver Dog Training LLC $2,000.00 on November 8, 2022 via Zelle money transfer. At about 6:35pm EDT on Sunday November 13th, 2022, ***************************************** called me indicating that our puppy had broken her leg during ********* conducting his training session with her, at the DOGTOPIA of *************** Northeast facility. She was taken by ********* to ************************* nearby and upon take in examination and radiology, she was confirmed to having complete breakage in both radius and ulna of the front right leg. She was kept overnight and prepared for surgery on Monday November 14, 2022 placing a surgical plate and screws to stabilize the radius. She had also contracted respiratory illness and other GI issues which required further medications post surgery. Our puppy was on 5 medications several times a day, and in complete inactivity for minimum of 6 weeks out of her young puppy life, requiring full attention and attendance from her parents and consequently impacting their ability to function otherwise. At the moment and pending additional scheduled appointments for X-Rays etc., the current medical and surgical expenses total $10,260.46 (Attachment A to this letter). Training fees paid to SILVER DOG TRAINING, LLC of $2,000.00 (Zelle transfer image Attachment B to this letter) are required to be refunded. The total expenses currently are $12,260.46. This amount is not accounting the hardship, pain, short term disabilities and limitations on parents, and the potential long term constraints and care caused by your collective incompetence and gross negligence.
