    This complaint is against Broward legal aid that in some records is listed as coast to coast legal aid I contacted them weeks ago however no response. I call today and employee name Elzan answered and she was rude and told me I need to go online and submit an application but that the wait list was 12 weeks she said that 7 times in the phone call. My question for management are you in the business of assisting Broward County public or are you in the business of demotivating people from applying forassistance? This is serious and should be communicated to the in a complaint to the *** for nonprofit organizations previously also, I was giving a legal advice by one of your staff members that was not an attorney. This is unacceptable income requesting for management to investigate these two incidences I email one of the directors and have received no response so I dont know if I will get a response with this complaint, but I have advised to file a complaint against a nonprofit organization . I did submit the application however I asked for confirmation of receipt of that application and of course your employees have not confirmed that this is unacceptable in so many levels.

    BBB:

    ******* ****** has not been a Coast to Coast Legal Aid of ************* (CCLA) employee since 2018. I am in receipt of a letter dated May 31, 2025 referencing ***** ******** complaining about service issues. I am sorry ***** had an issue accessing services. Please be advised that **** rents space in the building owned by **************************** (*****). **** is particularly proud of how accessible our services are in person at the ***** location, in the ******************, via phone and via online application. **** does not have a staff member by the name of Elzan.  CCLA does not have a wait list for services. The complaint does not reveal the type of legal services being requested. It would be helpful to know the services being requested, as we could follow up and ensure that if they are services CCLA offers. ***** and CCLA do not duplicate services. If the service requested is a service CCLA offers, we will have an intake specialist contact ***** for a follow up.
