A third party who is responsible for the inspection of the defective mattress to honor a warranty claim by Sherwood bedding the point of contact is an ***************************** his email is ***************************************** The situation is this the bed has been defected shortly after purchase with both sides bulging, approximately 3 inches from each side and sagging about 2 inches in the center of the mattress, making it for a very uncomfortable night of rest, waking up very sore and sometimes stiffness with back and hips. When the inspector came out, they found a stain on the center of the bed, and at the head portion of the bed pictures were taken, and that was to be determined that my warranty claim was void the dissatisfaction and question is how does a light or faint stain have anything to do with the functionality of a sturdy mattress. In my opinion, a light stain is not going to cause a defective mattress that cost $2200 to sag in the middle more than normal and bolts from the sides more than 2 inches. The disappointment is that I believe this third-party warranty company, Sherwood bedding, operated by **************, ********* has taken on the approach of the avenue with least resistance, identifying the stain. Therefore, claiming my warranty is void and is not interested in honoring this product. I would like for the BBB to assist from a different perspective and understanding that a stain does not cause a bed to sag in the middle or bulge from the sides. This is clearly a defective product that needs to be honored through a warranty claim, and I am seeking, a credit for a new bed. If not, I would like a total refund so that I may purchase a quality mattress elsewhere. Whatever the BBB can do to assist I would much appreciate the assistance so that this business doesnt take my situation for granted in their benefit, thank you in advance for your time and assistance
