    A deposit was placed with this contractor on May 28th, 2021 in the amount of $3,700 (roughly half of the invoice). Included in the invoice, the contractor was responsible for running the permits but never followed through with the *****************. On November 9, 2022, we were informed that the permit application became null and void due to "no activity for a prolonged period".As of December 12, 2022, we have attempted to contact ****** Atkins, the owner of Atkins Paving, Inc. countless times including via text message, phone calls, and e-mail. We have only received two responses via text informing us that he will give us a callback but never does. On March 10, 2023, we advised that we would have no other option but to take legal action if we do not receive a response. We again did not receive any communication from Atkins Paving, Inc.We are willing to resolve this issue by either receiving a refund of the deposit or if the contractor contacts us in order to finish the job.
