On January 10th, 2024 Western Carteret Fire and EMS purchased two *** RCL-95 LED searchlights from ****** Marine for $629.50 each invoice number *********. These lights were installed on our new water rescue vessel and were operational. On April 13th, 2024 while operating in a search and rescue operation one of the *** RCL-95 LED searchlights failed to operate. Upon returning to the station it was determined through switching controls that the light head itself was defective. I contacted ****** Marine in which they advised our purchase was outside the 30 day return window. I attempted to contact ACR Electronics *** through telephone. ACR Electronics advises via message that they are busy and will return calls within ***** hours. I left three messages between April 15th, 2024 at 10:21 a.m. and today April 24th, 2024 with no return phone call. ACR Electronics ***'s website clearly states that the warranty period for this light to be two years, "This product is warranted against factory defect in material and workmanship for a period of 2 (two)* years from the date of purchase or receipt as a gift. During the warranty period ACR Electronics, Inc. will repair or at its option, replace at no cost to you for labor, materials or return transportation." Western Carteret Fire and EMS are only requesting to either have the light we purchased repaired or replaced. I have had no return contact from ACR Electronics ***.

I purchased an ACR PLB-425 for approximately ****** in March 2023. This is a personal locator beacon I use when traveling offshore with my boat. I purchased a 406 Link subscription in August of 2023 for approximately $59.00. This is a testing subscription that notifies your emergency contacts via a text message verifying the system is working correctly. I activated the emergency test on 08/27/23 from 30 miles offshore. None of my emergency contacts received a message. This indicates my unit is not properly working. I have sent several e-mails the past 2 weeks to ACR but have yet to receive a response. I have spent over $485.00 for a critical safety tool that is worthless and have received zero guidance from this company.

End of year event purchase was suppose to include a free carry pouch and one year of the 406Link subscription. After several submissions to the company with the required purchase receipt, they failed to honor their program. Carry pouch and one year subscription was never received. ACR entices customers with extra free items and fails to follow through with their published advertisement.

We bought an *** ResQLink View - Buoyant Personal Locator Beacon with GPS for Hiking, Boating and All Outdoor Adventures (Model PLB 425) *** on October 21, 2021. We were looking at the Garmin devise that for an annual price you can text from any where in the world and with this annual fee you get emergency epirb notification to the coast guard. The *** company completely lied and tricked us into believing that with there device we would get Epirb full time witch I hope is true or we will die at sea. And if you subscribe to an annual contract you will get a pre set up text sent to your family when you test the devise. So, we paid the annual fee set up the text, tried it at home. It worked great we told our families they would get the same text once a day while we were at sea(in the Pacific Ocean), out of cell range. We were on our 25 foot sailboat. We left Catalina ****** in The end of November and each day we pressed or test bottom on or *** Epirb. Each day it told us how many tests we had left. When we got back into cell range our family was extremely worried, they received zero texts, luckily it was only 2 days. They were with in minutes of calling the coast guard booking flights and heading down to help look for us. I was furious. Ive tried a dozen or more times to try and reach *** but they wont respond. My subscription online says used up, meaning Im guessing that they only give you one text to send for your $50 annual subscription. We are going back out to the ocean in November and will be out of cell range four 5 days this time. Im at a lose for how to handle this. Im scared to trust the devise with me and my wifes lives. Do I pay for 5 annoual subscriptions thats $250. If I would have known this I would have went with Garmin. We were lied to and tricked. There is zero info. Telling you this. They even have a cute video on ******* that tells how happy your family will be to get this simple text letting them know your ok.

ACR's Vice President of **************** and ****************** called ******************** on Tuesday (8/16/2022). ******************** explained he could not get his 406Link to work and didnt understand the subscription.  The two discussed the concern and agreed to let ACR research his account and have a follow-up call on Friday (8/19/2022).

After researching, it appears ******************** purchased and set up his account right before ACR launched a new website.  While his account was moved to the new site, for some reason his subscription was unpaired with his beacon and his contacts deleted.  We updated his account, extended his subscription, and ensured everything was working.  We called ******************** on Friday (8/19/2022) to explain what had occurred. ******************** went outside, tested his beacon, and the SMS/Emails from 406Link immediately came in.  He was very pleased.  They are preparing to sail their sail boat for the first time to ****** and we are pleased they selected an ACR product to join in their journey.
