    ***** **** - Program Director, Broward Schools Summer ********* South Florida Extremely disappointed with how I was treated by ***** **** after weeks of preparation to enroll my children in the Broward Schools/**** summer program. Everything seemed fine until the first day I brought my children to camp (June 10), when I discovered that the site address listed on the **** website was incorrectmaking the location unworkable for our family.I called ***** that morning to confirm the address. He acknowledged the error and I explained the site wouldnt work. I asked if my children could be transferred to a closer location. He said yes and told me to review the site list and call him back. That was our first conversation since registration was finalized weeks ago (last text was May 16).I called him back at 11:52 AM (as planned), left a voicemail, and followed up with a text noting that I saw a nearby location and asking to discuss next steps. He returned my call at 12:37 PM and was shockingly rude and dismissive. He spoke over me, acted like I was inconveniencing him, and didnt recall our earlier conversation. He claimed I was "doing everything late"despite the delay being caused by the incorrect info on their site, not my timing.He interrupted repeatedly, told me the site I asked about was full, and made it sound like I was demanding special treatment. His tone was harsh and impatient. I genuinely wondered if he mistook me for another parent. The whole exchange felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional.I was calm and trying to resolve a situation that wasnt my fault. Im deeply uncomfortable sending my children, especially those with special needs, into a program led by someone who handles parent communication in this way. I hope **** leadership becomes aware of how Mr. **** is treating families.
