Business Name: Tipsy Tampa Bartending and events Primary Contact: ******* ***** Complaint Summary:Unprofessional conduct and breach of contract for bar services at my wedding.Complaint:I hired this company to provide bar services for my wedding. I paid for the premium alcohol package for ****** guests, with around ************* actual attendance. The service was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.Major issues included:The bar was closed early without explanation. They ran out of nearly all alcohol options early in the evening.I paid for TWO bar setups, but only ONE was provided.I paid for FOUR bartenders, but only TWO were servingthe other two were used for emergency alcohol runs due to poor planning. The promised champagne toast was a failure. They were to provide 250 stemmed flutes (confirmed via email), but only 53 were brought.*******, the main point of contact, was rude to guests, made inappropriate comments such as youve been coming up too often, and did not know who the groom wasacting disrespectfully toward him multiple times. After the event, ******* made repeated promises to send a refund check, first via email and later claiming it would be overnighted. Despite these promises, no check was ever received.I sent three follow-up emails, and even received an email stating the check would arrive by noon the next daybut it never did.Ive now been blocked on social media after posting a truthful review of the experience.*******s conduct was both unprofessional and deceitful. Despite a paper trail of emails promising a resolution, she failed to follow through on any form of compensation.Desired Resolution:A refund for the portion of services that were not fulfilled, specifically related to the undelivered bar setup, missing staff, failed champagne toast, and false promises of reimbursement.

I am very sorry you feel this way. I never meant to be rude at all. I loved that wedding. I knew who the groom was and I tried to take ***** care of both of you and make sure you always had a drink in hand.

When I arrived I was told by the coordinator to use the one bar on site since we would need to set up a bar where the ceremony was and didnt want to be in the photos. I had the set up with me and we could have set it up. I explained that in my email as well.

we brought the normal amount of liquor for 220 guests. We had a runner who was separate from the other bartenders. He actually went to get more champagne glasses when we realized what had happened so I do apologize about that.

I have every intention on giving you a partial refund. Once you posted a negative review it broke that contract. I did not block you and I would like to resolve this.

I hired Tipsy Tampa for a destination wedding on March 8th, 2025. I had to cancel, so I cancelled on April 5, 2025. The event was to happen on June 21st, 2025.I sent the cancellation in text and through email. *******, the owner acknowledged I cancelled. The contract clearly states if the cancellation is 30 days before the event, you would get your money back except ****** dollars. I paid ******* on a credit card and ****** with my debit card. I've been going back and forth with ******* and her saying a check has been sent. I continued to ask her where the refund is and she kept saying she would send it overnight and would provide me with a tracking number. With many excuses, she has now stopped replying to my emails and texts. I have a feeling she is not going to refund me being 60 days and come and gone. I've researched her company and read that many have been promised refunds and have not received them. This was read on Yelp. I am still wanting on my refund, but with no response from her I feel as she is going to keep my money that's owed back to me.

I was refunding the full amount. We have certain limits and was following the contract. When ***** started writing online and be reviews it was hurting my business and breaking the contract. I have full intentions of sending the refund.

I am rejecting this response because: This situation would not be happening if you had not breached the contract. I did not post on social media or on reviews until the 60 days past at which I should have been refunded already.

Instead, I got ignored, blocked and you are still holding my money along with MANY other brides money. So yes, you are scamming people of their hard earned money. Your contract stated within 60 days, not when ******* wants to refund. Again, no posts or reviews were made until you breached contract.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ******

I was working with the **** for a Christmas event. They needed additional licensing and when I was sending it in it wasnt what the venue needed. I had never experienced that before because we have all the licensing needed. They were booking around Christmas which is our business time of year. When they decided to cancel - I responded as much as I could. Per our contract we have ***** days for all refunds. That would be by January 15 2025 but they disputed this in December. I will give the refund it is owed to them I just need them to invoice me- its not going back on the card that they used for payment. If they would like to proceed that is all that I need. I will add emails to show that I was as responsive as I could be and I was trying to help and make this right. I apologize

I am rejecting this response because: as the vendor requested, we sent an invoice, and asked the vendor to remit payment to us by yesterday 1/29/25. We did not hear back from the vendor and payment was not received as of 1/30/25.

    Sincerely,
