      Caloosahatchee glass and mirror reduced my refund by $400 to $1,000. from $1,400.Our agreement was for a "Frameless" glass shower enclosure. When the materials were delivered the installer informed us that the materials ordered would not provide that result.I refused the install. The company offered an ALTERED install which they called a "Solution". I have a documented diagram in an email from them indicating metal tracks and a shower door entry on the WRONG side.This plan was not contracted.When I refused to accept their altered install they said they were taking $400. of my deposit refunding only $1,000.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Owner is not factual.  I've attached phone logs and emails.  This is a common practice of this company.

      Per phone records, notes and emails below you will find a detailed account of the facts based on the notes I took during the interaction with Caloosahatchee Glass & Mirror. Then notes below can be verified by my phone logs, and emails correspondence. I can also provide at least 4 other reviews who have encountered the same treatment as I did. These reviews are always responded to in the same manner she did mine.  
      Initial contact:
      10/14/2022 came out and provided an estimate to fix the broken glass in my kitchen window due to Hurricane Ian.
      10/17/2022 emailed ********* asking how I can get the process started.
      11/3/2022 emailed again asking how I can pay the deposit so I can get my window ordered
      11/4/2022 received estimate and made $254 deposit,
      11/20/2022 emailed asking for update - no response
      11/29/2022 10:40 am called no answer unable to leave message- mailbox full
      12/1/2022 9:12 am called no answer unable to leave message-,mailbox full
      12/2/2022 9:18 am called no answer left message
      12/7/2022 9:23am called no answer
      12/29/2022 left message with *******.  Advised her how upset I am that I hear nothing.  ****** called me back and said her team was on a well deserved vacation and it looks like the glass will be in on 1/10/2023.  She said she would call to confirm once received.
      1/17/2023 I called and ******* answered (at least that's the name she uses when she answers) and said her boss is right down the road she will call as soon as she gets in.
      Approximately an hour and a half later ***** calls yelling at me that she told me when it would be in and she can maybe get me scheduled the week of the 24th.  I told her that I have been patient, I have left numerous calls and emails and she cut me off saying she could maybe schedule if I would shut up and listen to her.  I said I have every right to be upset that I see in her reviews this is how they operate.  She hung up on me.  I did not call back and I have no record in my call logs of her calling back numerous times as she states.
      I did send her a message and email advising her I will contact the BBB.
      I did not slander her, I am stating the facts of my interaction and have seen at least 4 others reviews stating the same.
      I did not verbally threaten her and since she refuses to step foot on my property she voided her own contact.
      I’d like my $254 refunded for the manner in which I was treated and for this company not upholding their own contract.

      I'm not sure What's going On here she continues to slander us on multiple social media platforms her glass is in our warehouse and has been since the 12th and she was scheduled for the 24th of January For install. We only have a voicemail for after hours...we are a small family owned and operated business with only live staff answering phones. Our employees are working 12-14 hour days with destruction still at home while taking care of our community.
      After speaking with and giving dates she hung up the phone. We tried to call her back multiple times. And no she never talked to kristy about her job, kristy is a receptionist that answers calls and transfers calls, but did threaten kristy... she spoke with carol which did NOT hang up on her. The material is here and I will Not give a refund because she felt that she should be 1st priority after a hurricane. And due to her verbal threats we do not feel comfortable doing her work as stated in email she can pay what's owed for the unit minus install and have someone else complete her job as the screen shots attached from Google and emails attached she only got vm because the rant started at 8 am we don't open until 8:30
