    I purchased a vivid cart from Cart MD approximately 35 days ago.I prefer phone conversations vs text, but my sales person S___e uses text only following the sale. I spent 15 minutes over the phone ordering my cart and mailed check. Very easy. Unfortunately due to the sales person inability to read, we were not on the same page. Im a reasonable person and if a hurricane delayed my cart in any way, shape, or form I totally would understand the delay. The excuses and frustration on my end could have easily been avoided by simply being able to read and comprehend English (which I believe is his first language) Once they received payment and delivered the cart, professionalism immediately ended. I called the service department to inquire about working on a separate cart that I obtained upon the purchase of my vacation home. Quickly during the conversation the service employee turned combative and actually hung up on me when I asked if my recent purchase held any value in assisting me with my needs. Now I received a text message saying they wont warranty my golf cart and dont want my business. I decided to write this after researching the cart md on the bbb website and saw where the company responded with a laughing emoji saying a woman would have to travel several hundred miles to have warranty work done on her cart. Obviously this company is run by someone who cares about making money then taking no responsibility which they are obligated to do.I dont want any money, apologies, or accountability from cart md. I just think the public should understand what they are getting into doing business here. Im also looking forward to the response from cart md on this bbb page. If its anything like how they responded to the previous bbb filing it should make for a good laugh.

    Mr ****** bought a cart over the phone on 9/27, right before hurricane ****** which occurred on oct 5th, a cart which wasnt in stock and had to be gotten from ***, we obviously was not open from the 8th, the 9th, and the 10th due the hurricane. We came back on Friday, the 11th, we  got this customers payment on the 11th by mail, we were closed on the weekend, the customers cart was ready for pick up from *** on Monday the 14th, we added accessories here at our shop on the 15th we delivered on Wednesday the 16th, ALL of which the customer had been updated the whole way through the process

    This customer on 10/15 had asked ***** (salesperson) if "we were gonna deliver the cart or tell him to pound salt" (see attached text screenshot) (we were closed due hurricane, so was ***) This was our first negative comment from the customer, then a phone call was made to the customer, he answered and immediately asked for the order to be cancelled,   (remorse buyer) , we declined as the cart had been ORDERED specifically for this customer and *** was paid already, we then explained how sorry we was that a hurricane had interrupted the progress but he would be made a priority, then this customer began hurling insults, cursing, sending offensive texts and emails, I the owner, was texted "Fuck you and your company" and many other illustrative choice words on his behalf were hurled <AGAIN, SEE ATTACHED TEXT AND EMAIL FOR PROOF> The best we can determine is that this customer was 1: mad that we didnt deliver sooner despite this whole side of our state under mandatory evacuation orders and 2: Perhaps bought this cart and afterwards decided he was not able to afford it (customer surveys have shown this is the number 1 reason for an order cancellation so quickly after purchase) We come to these possible determinations because there is no just cause for this customers vitriol and hatred towards us, I the owner, then told the customer that we will refuse to do business with him moving forward and that he should not contact us further, this customer then began contacting various members of our team and even the golf cart maker (mfg), IN ALL THIS, NIETHER US, NOR THE *** can determine any issue as to what triggered this customers hatred and hurtful, offensive actions.
    We are confident any reader of this review will be able to read the attached texts from this customer and be able to easily determine that we are in no fault and that he is an impatient, rude, and offensive bully that likes to bully people and intimidate to get his way, this customer is a "hotshot" type that works in the hospitality industry and should know better than to take his own personal issues out on others around him, this is sad, although this could be his way of compensating for "other" shortcomings known only to him.

    We must all strive to stand up to bullies, and continue to stand united on this front.

    I purchased a 13k golf cart from these crooks and paid 475$ for new rims and tires. This company installed the tires improperly with terrible alignment and after using the cart 10 times the tires are completely bald toed out the company picked up my cart doesn't take any responsibility is charging me $600 for new tires which I'm not agreeing to pay now they want $230 to bring my cart back.

    ************** was only charged for transport of the cart, which is not covered by the *** for warranty, this fact was clearly stated on the original bill of sale. In my 20 years of working in this industry, no *** of any brand golf cart pays for transport services. We only and just charged this client for transport of the cart, we did not charge for labor, we did not charge for the new tires,....just the transport.

    The transport charge is a fair charge. BUT We should NOT have replaced the tires under warranty as the customer waited until the tires were destroyed before she complained of mis-alignment, she bought the cart on 6/2/23 and drove the cart for an entire year supposedly with a bad alignment and failed to report the misalignment to us, instead choosing to drive on the tires until fully destroyed (see her own pics) You cant expect service to a warranty when you blatantly kept driving with a known issue and caused even more damage, this makes her responsible for the tires, the alignment is not a warranty item as alignments can be altered by simply hitting a curb too hard or a pothole, this is known as "wear and tear" damage and is NOT covered by any ***.....we still gave her the tires, and the labor for free when we shouldnt have, she didnt deserve it.

    HOWEVER, what this customer needs to be aware of: 1, it has now been over a year and she has failed to get an annual service inspection an 2, her warranty on this cart belongs to Elite, the ***, and NOT CartsMD LLC, so her refusal to get an annual service done by an authorized Elite EV dealer means Elite does NOT have to honor any further warranties as she refuses to make necessary annual inspections/repairs  

    ALSO, We do not have to offer her service moving forward, This was an unfair review, anyone who would read this and sees the invoice will recognize that she is in fact being unfair. 

    Finally, a message to this customer: Feel free to find a different authorized Elite dealer to service your cart, the nearest one is several hundred miles from here (LOL) GOOD LUCK!!!!
