    I hired south Bay to renovate condo flooded by hurricane ***. When asked when I could get on their schedule was told they could start tomorrow. I paid a deposit the end of June 2023 and sure enough they started right away with moving a wall to enlarge the bathroom. It is now January ****, starting our 7th month into this project. I still have no kitchen, no bathrooms, no doors or baseboards. The drywall and framing for the new kitchen layout was done in October. The electrical upgrades that were supposed to be done prior to drywall but weren't, were finished in November. Flooring was installed in December. Showers were promised in November but although shower prep is done, still no tile. Not one promised date has been met. He's too busy with other jobs apparently. The work that has been done, with the exception of the painting has been very good, but the timeline has been a complete failure to deliver. Have even been waiting since second week of November for a copy of the permit and necessary paperwork so I can file for the **** My advice, get a completion date in your contract before you sign with this guy.
