Hello, I should have realized this before I sent payment, but this business requested an insurance deposit before delivery via their shipper. They also would not use normal payment methods and requested a less secure method. In addition to being highly unorthodox, this fee was never disclosed initially and is supposedly a return fee as well. I have sought a refund, but am not optimistic. The fee that was being asked for was more than the purchase itself. Upon investigating their website I found that I could not access their phone line or their e-mail response system. Also they are trying to correspond via text message and whatsapp requests. None of this was disclosed before ordering from the website. I would just like to report them as well as their shipping system ( Kingsmailing.com) which also doesn't seem to be accessible from anything other than a hyperlink sent from the supplier.

Purchased 4 boxes of hunting ammunition through their online store. They required payment via Zelle which does not allow for purchase protection. They gave me a tracking number and used ************* as the shipping company. ************* first requested $135 for some sort of insurance stating it was refundable. Then They said that they needed an additional $700 for a stamp on the insurance paperwork. The $700 would only be 85% refundable. Never received the ammo or the money.

I tried to order some ammunition from this store via their web site (https://www.ultimatearmstore.com/) on 26 July 2022. They had a very good (but not unbelievably good) price on .30-06 ammunition. So I ordered 2 cases for a total of $1014.96. What threw me off was that they didn't take credit cards or traditional payment options but only "social media" payment methods such as PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. Since I had a PayPal account, I used that option. I rarely use PayPal for anything outside of the few times I shop for items on Ebay. So I wasn't aware of PayPal's prohibition on transfers for firearms, ammo, and related items. So when the payment method came up, it said I had to use the "Friends and Family" option instead of "Goods and Services". After placing the order, I exchanges several emails from the store on how to use the "Friends and Family" option. The first email address provided () didn't work but PayPal didn't provide a helpful reason as to why it failed. So they provided a different email address to use. The 2nd one did work and the money was sent. I used my Discover card for PayPal since I didn't want it linked to my bank account. The next day, I got an email with a tracking number to a shipper I've never heard of before (tracking info attached). Delivery of the item was supposed to happen on 30 July but instead, the delivery is "On hold" pending a "Refundable Insurance Deposit". I soon learned that was a scam. I certainly wasn't going to pay any more for a false hope of receiving items that never existed. After doing more research, I learned that the emails originated in Cameroon and the physical location listed was for a gun shop of a completely different name. While it would be nice to get what I ordered or a refund, I doubt it since every bit of it was a fraud and I fell for it. Lesson learned.
